Services
Set up in 2014, Freemont has a Board of four Directors all steeped in experience in the management of retirement properties throughout the UK.
From working with many of the top companies in the industry as well as serving on key trade bodies such as ARHM (Association of Retirement Housing Managers), they have moved in their words "from the large corporate sometimes anonymous face of a large company" to get back to the Key Principles of "Excellent Customer Care".A qualified accountant and former Group Finance Director of The Peverel Group and the E&J Group.

Our comprehensive range of services are designed to support Residents (leaseholders) Landlords, Developers, Housing Associations, and Right to Manage companies. With the principle aim of providing a comprehensive and caring management service to all our market, you can be assured your property will be managed, maintained and cared for to a high professional standard.
Residents' Associations provide a great means through which Residents can get together to co-ordinate their views and wishes for the management of their homes - and most importantly - how their money is spent. If you are unaware of a Residents' Association at your property, it may be well worth contacting your Property Manager to see if one has been set up and if so, when and where meetings are held.
Introduced through the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act (2002), the Right to Manage (RTM) is the legal right of leaseholders in a block of flats to force the transfer of the landlord's management functions to a special company set up by them - the Right to Manage company. It must be clear that this does not necessarily mean 'self-management', but rather the Right to Manage is the transfer of responsibility and decision-making.
With a wealth of experience of working directly with Landlords and Developers, here at Freemont Property Managers we fully understand the importance of the need to fulfil the strict obligations set out under a lease. In choosing Freemont, you can rest assured that your property will be fully and professionally managed in a timely and efficient manner whilst ensuring the lease is fully adhered to.

Rubbish company, senior management is useless and unresponsive. Head office PAs cannot spell and are grammatically inept. HR manager is worse than useless, IT support sadly lacking, low paid staff are demoralised, residents frustrated, disappointed and unhappy. Freemont's pitch for this site was the best example of "Bait and Switch" possible. If only we'd realised...

My property has had 3 different managers since Freemont took over and all have been proactive and responsive. I have no issues with either Freemont management or staff.
Whenever I report an issue to them it has always been dealt with promptly and I have been kept updated on progress if it was a longer term issue.
Some of these reviewers need to examine their own attitudes and take notice when things go smoothly and even be complimentary when things go well.
Only ever being negative is not helpful to anyone.

My experience of Freemont is totally different to those shown. There is always someone helpful and friendly on the end of the phone line. I have always received call backs as promised, even if it's just an update on my query. Our gardens are kept beautifully and the communal areas are clean and tidy. During these difficult Covid times, we have received regular communications from Freemont and have been kept updated on the latest recommendations from the Government. I cannot fault them and they are a vast improvement on our previous Managing Agents.

Awful company who just increase the service charge every chance they can and for the past 2 years have charged an additional £135 in addition to the annual £950 I had previously paid!
There was a leak in my roof and they would not fix it even at the point the bathroom fan was hanging off and showing electric wires! Clearly neglecting health and safety on a very serious level! I eventually got it fixed but I had to phone and email them everyday and it took months!
I struggle to understand how they have the audacity to charge what they do as in terms of maintaining the building they barely do

Terrible Management Company. They managed my Grandmothers retirement flat having taken over from another company. The whole thing has been driven into the ground. Not maintained properly, over paid contractors and caving into the ridiculous demands of a very residents.
The development manager left after being bullied by them apparently. Would not recommend.

Freemont manages the building I live in. For nearly two years now there has been a leak from the roof into my flat which they have neglected to fix. Any attempts of contacting them result in inevitable stalling and "we'll get back to you". When someone eventually comes round to "fix" the issue, it never really gets fixed and the problem resurfaces again later. What's the point in taking on the contract to manage a building if you then don't do anything? Just give the job to someone else!

Absolutely awful company continually send incorrect invoices and threatening letters for payments which have already been made month's before. They seemingly take your money for nothing. I have lived in a building managed by them for almost 2 years and the windows have been cleaned possibly once, the fire alarm is faulty and regularly goes off in the middle of the night and it takes them several hours for someone to come out to turn it off.

These Managing Agents have neglected our once beautiful development. Pulled all the landscaping and beautiful shrubbery out of the beds and borders and not replaced it leaving our flowerbeds empty with just earth for the last 7 months, making it look like a refuge camp. They have promised us decorating, new carpets, new landscaping and excellent customer service. We have the money in our budget for all of these things yet they haven't got off their backsides and organised any of it in over a year. We are also paying them £10,000 a year for the privilege! Absolute rip off merchants stay away from
