The Melton Constable is a traditional roadside Pub, located above the harbour in the centre of the seaside village of Seaton Sluice. With views north to the Cheviot Hills and of Holywell Dene from the Conservatory, the Pub lies just a stone's throw away from an award winning beach and the stunning Northumberland Coast.

We are renowned locally for our range of 6 Real Ales, (as listed in the CAMRA Real Ale Guide and Cask Marque approved) which alongside a broad array of Malt whiskies, Gins, Seasonal Cocktails and a menu packed with everyone's favourite meals make us the most "traditional" of traditional pubs in the area.

Not exactly a highlight but I think the plates could be warmed before the food is served. my food went cold almost immediately it was put in front of me.

The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. The stake pie was lovely the meat was tender and the gravey was tasty. The pastry was excellent 👍👍

Only had a pint of Abbot but the service was spot on from the lovely lady and she carried my drinks out as I had a cast on me hand. Lovely views out the back looking down Holywell Dene, nice place to chill on a summers evening. Pub looked clean.

Great to be back in a pub having a meal. Customer service excellent. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Fish and chips fab, lovely presentation on the plate. Tasty and good portion size. Menu not extensive but what is produced is done to the highest standard. Would highly recommend.
