Providing just the package to suit your needs, from Bed and Breakfast, Half Board (includes Breakfast and Dinner) to Short Holiday Breaks.

I love this hotel - it's my favourite place to stay when I visit Ryde. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The food is great, and my rooms have been comfortable. It's situation is perfect for the train, the bus station, the catamaran ferry and the hovercraft. Truly soul warming dishes from years gone by lovingly reconstructed with modern twists to provide you a luxury home away from home meal experience.
Services
Located in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, we are fortunate to take prime position along the Esplanade at the foot of the Victorian, Ryde Pier, know to locals as the dry end of the pier. The mainland linked Hovercraft, foot passenger catamaran and local train all stop here. Within easy walking distance to beautifully sandy beaches, Ryde's pretty little harbour and the many boutique shops and eateries of Ryde town.
The Royal Esplanade is located in the heart of all necessary transport links throughout the Isle of Wight, as well as beautiful beach paths and walks, making it the perfect location for exploring one of the most ideal locations in the UK to take a break to. Portsmouth Harbour to Ryde Pier Head is a lovely route, crossing the waters between the Isle of Wight and landing on the cusp of a Victorian Pier in just 22 minutes.
Spend quality time with truly soul warming dishes from years gone by, lovingly reconstructed with modern twists to provide you a luxury home-away-from-home meal experience. Your meal must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.

Historically The Esplanade's main Dining Room was principally for resident guests for it's dinner service, however, since the loving restoration of the spaces, it now accepts reservations for special meals and treat nights out.The Esplanade Dining Room offers a varied menu - using fresh, locally sourced food where possible.
Harry's Bar and Brasserie is open to residents and non-residents and offers a relaxed dining experience. The dcor is classically styled - reminiscent of the golden age of Bogart and Casablanca - complete with Kentia Palms. The Restaurant offers a classic Brasserie menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredient cooked to perfection by our resident chefs.
Enjoy a selection of finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, cakes, plus a selection of teas or why not treat yourself to a glass of fizz! Our Cakes are freshly baked from the Isle of Wight Bembridge Bakery bringing you a tempting selection and can include gluten free too!

An ideal place to unwind and watch the world go by, light, airy with comfy sofas, open fire and overlooking Ryde Esplanade and Seafront, making this an ideal coffee lounge to meet with friends and family or to relax for a peaceful bit of time for yourself.

Good accomodation, good food and attentive staff. Excellent Walk-in shower in Room 44. Room in phone did not seem to have dial tone which was reported but not believed to have been fixed. Also Power sockets on dressing table were extremely difficult to use as they were mounted too low down on wooden back plate causing great strain on conventional leads and on the sockets themselves

Good points - the staff were polite, very accommodating and helpful, food was good
Bad points - my room No 75 was in a terrible state, I was staying for 2 days and I just didn't want to go back to my room at night.
The bathroom was in an awful state, mould, worn, damaged, wardrobe didn't close, desk damaged, etc. Hit my head on the wardrobe, slipped out of the bath as no none slip sheet fitted on bath.
I feel sorry for anybody having to stay in this room.
Looks like there is a process to update the rooms, unfortunately this room should be not used anymore as it's unsafe

A lovely stay in this well-known hotel. Fabulous sea view room. It’s a little tired in places but the food was excellent and the staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you.

In need of updating. The key to my room was something out of the 60s. The door failed to shut automatically behind me as it should. Very little thought put into my single room but it did have high ceilings. A cheap shower that provided lukewarm water. A very small TV that you could buy on gumtree for £10. Suggestions- make the bathroom into a wet room. Plenty of room for a double bed. The single in there was very uncomfortable. Buy a bigger TV.
Plus side - the staff were very friendly.

I had ale battered cod and chips in a restaurant by the sea!
Absolutely outstanding food, and the waiter was lovely too.
Relaxing ambience - with fancy tables and light jazz music.
I’d like to give this more than 5*.

Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff.Lisa on reception was very helpful and polite and also Patrick the waiter, porter was extremely accommodating, friendly and polite. Great breakfast and location was superb, to the beach and hovercraft. Needs a bit of revamping but for the price it was well worth every penny. Will definitely go back again.
