Ben started The Bike Cabin in 2014 and from day one knew that by offering bikes and products that were a little different to other bike shops in the area he could bring exciting new things to his customers. By including some parts in his servicing prices he has kept bike repairs affordable and along with competitively priced repairs allowed people to keep cycling at a realistic price.

In the early 1970's, my fellow cycling friends and I would take our cruiser bikes, bikes we called klunkers, on rides in the hills of Marin County. At first this was for fun and a diversion from our more serious ventures in road biking and racing. It was a good time, but eventually we began modifying the bikes with gears and drum brakes cannibalized from old motorcycles.

My chain was catching on front derallieur took it too ben and was soon sorted in no time at all and done cheap too he knows wot he on abowt great bloke thanks v much ben

I took my new Boardman hybrid bike to Ben the other week. As I coundt fit my front wheel to the disk brake. Great service and fast ( cost me nout) . I will be back for my cycling needs.

Saved my bacon from a long walk home.
After getting a puncture along the Leeds to Liverpool canal near Chorley, realised I’d left my pump at home. You know that sinking feeling!
Quick look on google maps for a local bike shop. Luckily it found The Bike Cabin, not too far away.
However, when I got there, the shop was closed (I’m guessing C19). Gave the number on the sign a quick ring. Less than a minute the guy was at the front door, pump in hand. Really nice friendly chap (sorry, I forgot to ask your name, but I guess it’s Ben, after reading other reviews?) had me up and riding in no time

I've used Ben at the Bike Cabin for ALL my repairs and spares I may need for years even though I have a shop a 5 minute ride from my home I choose to travel 45 minutes , He's got an encyclopedic knowledge on all things pedaled
Pricing is equal to anything on the internet.
Super friendly, honest would recommend to anyone.

I can't thank Ben @ The Bike Cabin enough for the bike build he did for me recently.
Hydraulic disc brakes, fitting mudguards and quality components, and consulting on all apects of the build process. He offered a truly bespoke service.
The bike he built for me is a joy to ride, and is set up exactly as per my requirements.
An honest bike mechanic whom really knows his stuff - hugely recommended!
