If you want to be disappointed book through Steading Holidays, we booked a week and just got an email cancelling it. We had booked a hotel on the way up and another over on Mull after and now we are going to loose out on all of them because Steading are terrible to deal with. Last year they also cancelled our stay but were able to supply different holiday let which was fine but this one has just screwed us up big time as there is absoluty nothing to rent now at such short notice. Personally would avoid and book through a better company.

Really lovely place to stay for 2 weeks while doing geological mapping. We stayed in Jack's Ranch which sleeps up to 8, but is perfect for 5 and is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and walker friendly.
Everyone is friendly both at Steading and around town, and it's an easy walk to the ferry pier to go shopping in Tobermory
