I became a full time clinical hypnotherapist 10 years ago following a career in nursing and healthcare training, a lifelong fascination and education into people and behaviour.
It's such a simple, soothing and relaxing process which can produce the most profound effects. I am a Reiki Master and absolutely love this holistic treatment. It's a method of energy healing which promotes relaxation and well-being which was founded in Japan by Dr Mikao Usui. In this state the conscious mind is able to communicate with the subconscious. This is a wonderful and well recognised method of us unleashing our inner potential and resources. Hypnotherapy is a psychological therapy which uses the state of hypnosis to treat psychological and emotional disorders, unwanted feelings and habits.
It allows us to experience the moment rather than being sidetracked by past events, future concerns or worries and our own noisy internal chatter. A mindful mindset is a natural ability that we possess, we just need to learn how to access and cultivate it.

It's an area in which I'm experienced, well qualified, specialise in and thoroughly enjoy. The results are predictable which makes my job very satisfying indeed. Anxiety can affect concentration, sleep, work performance, relationships, health and make life difficult. For some, the cause of their anxiety is unknown to them, for others the cause may be quite apparent.
