Walter's son, Ray, began working at W Jones & Son in 1945. Walter died in 1959 leaving Ray to run the business as he still does today. For many years Ray's wife Beryl worked alongside him. Their daughter Karen joined them after leaving school and is now a partner in the business. She qualified and became a member of The British Institute of Embalmers and holds the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma in Funeral Directing.

We can tailor a funeral to suit the specific needs of any family and can supply many different types of coffins and caskets.

Anybody can take out a Perfect Choice Funeral plan, no matter of their age. There are no tricky medical or health questions to answer and once you take out a plan all the Funeral Directors costs are taken care of.

C W Jones have handled both my mother's funeral in 2009 and my father's funeral in 2020. In both cases their care and sensitivity were exceptional, and they were on hand to deal with any query, ensuring that the funeral was conducted in a way that was totally appropriate to our parent's wishes. They handled all the arrangements. We wanted family members to be bearers, and they guided us discretely so the whole occasion was calm and respectful. Highly, highly recommended.

This family business took care of my Brother and myself at a time when we totally lost.
They were a one stop shop, they dealt with absolutely everything. We didn't have to make difficult calls or appointments with stone Mason, council, flowers, Notices. It was all done to perfection.
When I look back now and talk to others, I realise how lucky we were to be looked after by The Jones. They were there for us through out. The people they recommended, like stone Mason and florist were exceptional too.
If you are broken by your loss, then this family will get you through.
