The Gracie Barra Women's Program combines a comprehensive self-defense curriculum with emphasis on drills that simulate realistic attack and escape situations. Aside from all classes offered in our Gracie Barra Program Structure, our school offers a set of classes designed to introduce women to the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
GB1 : Our Fundamentals/or beginners program is our 'GB1', All Grades and Flow Rolls Classes, they are not just for beginners however! Even our most advanced students benefit from the curriculum taught in GB1 as these are the foundation techniques which the rest of jiujitsu is built on! Its structure condenses an immense diversity of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu into core fundamental moves combined intelligently and safely to optimise your learning.
At Gracie Barra Warrington the Advanced Program are our GB2 classes, and our NOGI classes! Taught Curriculums, specific training and drilling! They are built on high-level techniques and drills that start shaping the students game flow through the development of reflexes, speed and reaction time as well as transitions between one technique and another.

Highly recommend this place to train for both adults and children, it has a really welcoming community feeling and everyone takes the time to help the lower grades, especially white belts starting out.
Graeme and his team are really excellent coaches and teach you all the tiny details that are essential to BJJ.
It is very clean and tidy, there are loads of sessions morning, midday and evening so you can fit in with your work life and it is easy to book on via the app.
If you are looking for a new place to train BJJ, self defence or to get fit, make sure you check it out.

I brought my 4 year old son tonight for his first class. He was a little nervous at first but the team made him feel so welcome and demonstrated outstanding patience with this age group. The class was fun, creative and varied. Encouragement and repeat demonstrations were given throughout. Thank you guys! We can't wait for the next class 🙌

Positives:
New facility with plenty of mat space clean and well maintained
Good community
Negatives:
Money driven with expensive membership considering some coaching is from blue belts.
Overpriced gear you have to buy from them.
No option to freeze or reduce membership during covid 19. They add online classes and pretend its the same.
Overall it's a good place to train and welcoming to newbies.

I’ve been training at Gracie Barra Warrington for a long time and decided to provide an honest review amongst those currently on display which are mostly provided by devoted members who have never trained anywhere else.
My review is a more balanced and unbiased look at the school.
The good:
- the black belt instruction is very good, his level of jiujitsu is amongst the best in the region. He is an international competitor and has medalled at black belt, and is a very knowledgable and experienced teacher.
- the school has a very successful kids programme, which has produced multiple gold medalists

Trained at this school from its opening until late 2018 when I stopped attending its classes regularly. I may or may not still be student. This is my honest review of this academy.
Having trained at Gracie Barra academies all over the world including europe and US I can safely rate this academy 1/5. It has alot to learn from the parent academies in the states.
Its run like a family business, only the family are the professor and his wife benefiting with a small selection of minions aka blue belts that were grass fed and shaped to teach classes so the owner could do other things.

I have been a member at Gracie Barra Warrington since September 2018 and hope I can provide an honest and humble review based on my limited knowledge of BJJ.
I was looking for a club that would deliver BJJ at a detailed yet fast competitive pace enabling me to learn new skills whilst pushing me physically in an area of self defence completely new to me. After purchasing my equipment and taking advantage of the free month membership and downloaded the Grace Barra App I began my journey as a beginner white belt ready to learn BJJ.
Via the easy to use booking app I found multiple training sessions

I have had the luxury of training in several gyms around the world including a number of Gracie Barra schools so I feel qualified to give an informed review. The level of education here is top class, Graeme has studied with and under some of the worlds elite players. I read a review where someone had an issue with blue belts teaching the fundamentals curriculum. These guys are teaching for a reason. They know the material inside out as per Graeme's instruction and through experience competing. They are patient and concise and always happy to answer any questions about what they are teaching. One
