We come every December for our children to choose their special Christmas toy and it is one of the highlights of their year. A real old fashioned toy shop with friendly staff where the children can explore and browse to their hearts content before leaving with a toy they love. A truly magical experience.

Wasn’t impressed that a bike service took over 2 weeks, and they had the cheek to add a £6 “storage charge”; how’s that calculated? If they’d done the work quicker, maybe they wouldn’t have had to store it for so long!

I have a lot of affection for Ely City Cycle Centre. I'm now over 50, but I remember my Grandfather taking me here to buy Star Wars action figures in the late 70s and early 80s.
On the ground floor are toys (lego, jigsaw puzzles, board games, dolls, fancy dress, balls) and a haberdashery. I can't really comment on the haberdashery, but my daughter loves to browse and pick up the odd item, depending on how generous Mum is feeling, or something more substantial.
Upstairs are a cycle centre with a variety of bikes, accessories and clothing. Also a hardware department with glues, paints, tools and

I bought a bicycle here a year ago and from my very first visit have received excellent customer service. They have never pushed me to spend money and have always given me very good advice. I cannot fault them in any way.

Very disappointed with the service ! Paid nearly a £100 over three repairs done on the same tyre on the bike within a couple of weeks! Every time they tell me a different thing and ask for more money ! Not even honouring that I originally bought this bike from them and have been a regular customer for years, absolutely ripping off !!

Having visited for the first time yesterday, I can honestly say this business has the best social distancing set-up of any business that I have visited.
The friendly and helpful staff are all wearing masks and limiting the number of shoppers inside. A door person directs you to different entrances depending on what department you want to visit, and clearly marked routes lead you to the appropriate exit upon leaving.
This was my first visit to your store, but certainly won't be the last. That is simply because of the fantastic attitude the owner/managers have to protecting their staff and customers

I paid £214 to have an old bike receive a full service. I received the bike back with damage to the handlebar post, one of the drinks holders shoved into the rear mudguard and the bike unwashed despite having paid for washing. They took the bike back and washed it, which is when I found the huge gouge around the handlebar post and gave up on these people. Prior to this I had been thinking of taking our custom road bikes here but I would never trust them with anything now. Please do not take your bike here, send them a message that behaving like this because the bike is old is not good enough.

This store is actually five in one. It is a toy shop, a haberdashery, a hardware, a bicycle shop & best of all (for me) a very well stocked model store with everything from airplanes, to tanks & back again plus all the tools you would need to really enjoy the hobby.
They are well stocked on Humbrol & Tamika & Airfix & if your thing is railways then they have everything you might need as well. I love coming here but unfortunately my self control suffers & I always end up buying stuff.
I know they're a little dear but I don't mind paying when this place is so close to where I live & I love supporting
