I first went to Margaret Lavender 5 years ago in such a bad shape that I could not stand or walk. She fixed me up, she brought me back to life! She's absolutely amazing and also the nicest person I have ever met in any type of medical practice. Fionnuala was just brilliant. She cured me of my back pain and gave me a better understanding of how to avoid problems in future.
She makes you feel completely at ease and is very knowledgeable in her specialism. Due to various medical conditions I attend a number of hospital clinics. The NHS is great but sometimes you need something extra, outside the NHS. It was great to discuss other aspects with Fionnuala like posture, sleeping difficulties and she helped me to look at things a little differently.

Services
In my approach to osteopathic treatment, I place a lot of emphasis on finding ways you can help yourself by enhancing your body awareness. I want to help people to understand how moving more and moving better can help improve their health and wellbeing. The first important thing is always to find the underlying cause of your symptoms.
Dennis Donnelly combines a wealth of experience in the field of physical therapy, body psychotherapy and other allied therapies to offer a unique approach to holistic healthcare. He has combined his training in osteopathy, remedial massage, cranio-sacral therapy and polarity therapy with input from international bodywork trainers like Meir Schneider, Jack Painter and Babette Rothschild.
Margaret Lavender qualified from The British School of Osteopathy in 1982 and obtained a BA (Hons) degree in Health Studies from John Moores University in 1994. She has worked on the Wirral since 1983, both privately and also, for a while, for the NHS. She provides General Osteopathy and Cranial Osteopathy to treat a wide variety of conditions, and any age group.
In the first Osteopathy treatment, we spend time talking everything through so that we can understand the cause of your problem. Lifestyle factors, work activity, old injuries or illnesses are all relevant to it. The aim is to get a diagnosis and find a treatment approach which will work best for you.
Fulwood Osteopaths is very easy to find on Aigburth Road. We are beside Fulwood Park, just opposite the entrance to Sefton Park and near to the junction with Jericho Lane. By train: We are midway between St Michael's Station and Aigburth Station, about 15-20mins walk either way (or catch the 82 bus).

Fionnuala has beem treating me for a few years . Her holistic therapy and healing hands have supported my recovery after a serious back injury. She is excellent at understanding you as a whole and offering suggestions for ongoing management. I have happily recommended her to friends and will continue to do so.

I had a number of sessions with Fionnuala and she was really helpful with the problem I was having with my shoulder and neck muscles. Due to various medical conditions I attend a number of hospital clinics. The NHS is great but sometimes you need something extra, outside the NHS. It was great to discuss other aspects with Fionnuala like posture, sleeping difficulties and she helped me to look at things a little differently. Would highly recommend a consultation and a series of treatments! Sandra.
