Amazing service as always from the team. Will is always very thorough and professional, knowing my eyes health is in good hands here. Have just received my new glasses which I am so happy with, and glad I listened to the advice of Henry and those on the shop floor who were honest and very helpful in choosing the right pair for me.

What a lovely place. Visited the clinic at the beginning of the week for a routine check up and can honestly say I was hugely impressed with the degree of service. The team here are fabulous and a credit to eachother. They have a wide range of frames to suit all tastes and budgets. Very clean/hygienic and modern inside with attention to detail and customers experience. I was in no rush to pick a frame unlike some places I have visited, and I felt that honest opinions were given on how each frame suited me. Brilliant! They are so thorough with both myself and my children. They really took their time with my son who had a cataract as a baby so has a false lenses and he hadn't attended an optician before just the hospital so was a new experience for him but i felt confident and comfortable with their assessments of us all.

Scarborows has an exceptionally professional and knowledgeable team of staff. On calling because of problems with my vision, Caroline, the receptionist, promptly arranged an emergency appointment with Will, who conducted a careful examination before setting out the potential issues and referring me to the eye clinic at Ipswich Hospital. Caroline and Will then followed up the outcome of this referral in a friendly and reassuring way, which I very much appreciated. Customer service could not have bettered and I'd highly recommend this local, independent business.

Fabulous opticians!
They really go the extra mile. My daughter was struggling with her reading - couldn't see gaps between words. She was diagnosed with 'visual stress' and prescribed clear, Visa Mesh glasses. It's made a world of difference to her confidence and enjoyment of reading. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

Excellent, independant opticians whose prices are not scary! This is an efifciently run, friendly opticians with a superb range of contact lenses and glasses frames - from designer to everyday. They sell all the extra bits too such as cleaners, sunglasses, glasses lanyards etc. They also offer scotopic sensitivity testing (sometimes called the Irlen syndrome in the USA). This is where certain colour tints can help focus print and written words. They use a special tint/light box to enable clear and true colour identification as well as offering coloured overlays too.
