Our serviced apartments are our premium self catering accommodation, available to rent on a nightly basis. Guests can also make use of the castle's hall and whisky library as well as the option to have breakfast in the castle dining hall (for an additional 20 per person). Our bed and breakfast is perfect for those seeking peace and a rural retreat.
We have 4 ensuite rooms and a fifth, Torr, has exclusive use of an adjacent bathroom. Downstairs, guests have full use of the main hall, sitting room, library and breakfast room. The castle is a family home and is occupied throughout the year by the proprietors and their children. Glengorm is located 4 miles from Tobermory on the north coast of the Isle of Mull, in the Inner Hebrides.

Services
Mingary is one of the largest castle bedrooms. It is very spacious with a super king size bed and seating in the bay window. Being situated on the corner of the castle it has views to the west and north; ideally suited to watching sunsets all year round. It looks out towards the Outer Hebrides, over the fields in front of the castle which are home to the farm's highland cattle and blackface sheep.
There is also a deep Victorian pedestal bath - perfect for soaking in after a hard day's fishing or walking. The kitchen houses what was once the castle strong room, complete with a solid steel door. A cosy cottage on the driveway to the castle. The Lodge, which used to be the post office for the estate, is situated at the castle gates and has its own garden.
After a stunning journey through the Highlands you will arrive at one of the 3 mainland ferry ports that lead to Mull: Oban-Craignure is the most common crossing and from there the journey time to Glengorm is about 40 minutes. Glengorm Castle is located 4 miles north of the beautiful harbour town and capital of the island, Tobermory.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Glengorm Castle. From the moment we drove up to the second we left everything was perfect. The lounge, games room, dining room and reading room had a lovely warm and relaxed atmosphere and the room we stayed in (Torr) was large and beautifully decorated and furnished. The breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed lovely walks from the grounds to the coast line. A truly special place in a much loved home. We will certainly return.

Most beautiful b&b I've ever stayed in. The interior is to die for and the views from the castle are breathtaking. The bedrooms are just stunning and the breakfast was an added bonus.
The castle does not have a restaurant for dinner, but it is not a problem. We dined at Am Berlin (~35 min drive) and Mishnish (~15 mins), both equally as nice!
I would also recommend pre-booking 1 week in advance so you can book a table - Especially on a Sunday and Monday when a lot of restaurants are closed

Compared to what? Is there any other B&B quite like this? Probably not. If not for anything else, just do it to say you stayed in a castle on a cliff. On an island.
Then wait until sunset. While time stands still, stare out at the vastness of the Atlantic and congratulate yourself for making it this far and not wrecking your car's suspension on the frankly treacherous Isle of Mull roads. You can go no further now. You have reached the end of civilisation. The only way is back. Back to your job. And the daily grind. Enjoy this moment.
Highlights include: 1920's plumbing. Free whisky. Hungry hippos

Only went for a walk and to use the tea room, but it is a really smashing place for both. We walked for a couple of hours, down to the shore below. There were some great views of the coast and back towards the castle itself, which is self catering apartments.
The tea room was a bit limited, because of Covid, but, although we only had coffee, the food coming out for others looked very nice.
Will definitely return.

Lovely Guest House style accommodation in a unique building and location. We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The owner has a collection of whiskeys that you can try which is really useful if you want to work out what you like before you buy anything at the local distilleries. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and decorated well. The breakfast was great - there's a nice option of hot options and cold options. They also accommodate for dairy intolerance.
The views from the castle in the morning and evening are spectacular, I'd highly recommend spending an evening in one

Unique and atmospheric B&B.
We only spent one night here but we stayed in the super spacious Mingary room (seriously, it's bigger than some flats I've seen) with stunning views on two sides.
The decor is 'homely' and perhaps a little old fashioned but suits the building well and frankly if it was renovated they could easily charge twice the price.
I very much enjoyed the breakfast using ingredients from their farm and the surrounding local businesses.
Top highlight was exploring the castle's amazing grounds including a neolithic stone circle and a medieval fort.
Also the free range cows are
