In line with the Early Years Alliance policy, the Pre-school & Toddler groups are run by an annually selected committee of parents/carers. It relies on everyone's support and involvement throughout the year in both helping/attending fund-raising activities and working with staff for the best outcomes for your child.
We can therefore accept children who are eligible for the Early Years 15/30 hours Funding and 2 Year Old Funding. Our aim is to provide a safe and caring environment where children are given the opportunity to learn through play without fear of rejection or failure.

Services
Our committee is annually appointed at our AGM. They organise many fundraising events throughout the year which are open to everyone. All funds raised go directly into providing new equipment and learning opportunities for the children within our pre-school. We undertake to form good relationships with our parents and actively encourage their involvement on a daily basis.
Welcome to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which is how the Government and early years professionals describe the time in your child's life between birth and age 5. This is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes.
Thank you for all you've done for our boys. They love the pre-school and we love how happy they've been with you all. You made us all feel very welcome as a family, my mum says "this hasn't changed in thirty years!" I highly recommend Bideford Baptist Pre-school. I was anxious leaving my daughter with anyone, but the setting, extensively trained staff, and the attention the children receive totally put my mind at ease.
Fundraising helps us to be able to support the Pre-school throughout the year and below is some of the events planned and how we do this. This isn't about fundraising it's our free annual end of year fun day where the children can have some fun racing against each other in the various events in Victoria Park.
