Worst Experience we've ever had in an a restaurant. Got the orders mixed up. Starters were OK. Cold and outdated atmosphere. Kept telling the Manger to turn the Air Conditioner low but to no avail. We've been to lot of Turkish restaurants almost all give complimentary bread and such. Unfortunately here you will get charged for it. And the all the mains were, maybe apart from one were wrong. If you are catering for people who are NOT familiar with traditional Turkish food, you will get away with it. If you want mundane, bland food and cold outdated atmosphere this is the place to be. Can not think

The lamb shish was not worth £15. So much cartilage it didn’t even taste nice, it didn’t help the knives were extremely dull. Also the chips were hardly cooked. No crisp to them and were extremely dry. I asked for some water and they didn’t bring any. I’d understand if it’s because it was loud in there. And finally the coke was almost completely flat

It's clear that the staff are really trying to give a good service but I think there a few things that hinder that. Firstly the music is louder than it needs to be so the waiter didn't hear that we wanted sparkling water and not still. The tables are really small which means our plates were more like side plates than main plates (as we were sharing a couple of dishes). The food was ok, but houmous didn't taste of anything. The falafel was ok, pitta bread again could have more flavour or just leave plain. The oil/chilli on top gives the impression of more flavour than there was. Chips and roast

Very friendly Turkish restaurant, the food was excellent and the presentation was just as good.
The three of us had sides, mains and even managed to attempt a cheeky little desert.
We had drinks and then went on to enjoy a couple of cocktails (the cocktails were perfectly drinkable considering they are not a cocktail bar) we enjoyed our evening, and we recommend this restaurant.
We have been here several times before.
It was fun, friendly and affordable.

The food was awesome!
We made an appointment earlier today. On arrival we were asked at the door for our name and there was a quick check to make sure we were wearing masks. Staff were really courteous. Atmosphere was nice. Very mixed group of customers. Ages that is...As usual we were the only ones of colour but didn't really matter as our meal was great!

Fabulous Turkish cuisine with exceptional customer service.
Much improved over my last visit, which was years ago because of several disagreeable experiences.
I relented and agreed to pop in and I'm glad I did. The staff were lovely and the food cooked nicely - so fresh!
They are back on the list!!

Service, taste, and flavors were OK. Nothing too bold or over the top. My partner and I enjoyed our quick lunch stop. But it was 2 hours later that the food came back to bite us both with some really upset stomachs. I'm giving this 2 stars cuz the service and food wasn't terrible but the bathroom issues afterwards were terrible.

Cheap & cheerful..ok maybe not cheerful so much but the food is good and great value. We had a whole lot of plates to share for a group of 6 with a couple of bottles of wine for under £20. Dips & pitta - the tzatziki (always my favourite) was amazing. They had this spiral pastry thing with melted cheese inside which was really tasty (wish I'd had seconds). Chicken shish and chicken betyi were also good (& good for sharing).

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
This place has absolutely ZERO redeeming qualities...
I trotted here for a quick bite mid-afternoon, hoping to get a quick fill in my belly before heading back to work... Plonked myself down and for what seemed like an age, the waitress finally comes over and takes my order. Absolutely no sign of enthusiasm or even a hint of a smile.... Fine by me, I'm ravenous, and I'm *ahem* far too engrossed with my work to even notice...
The plate arrives - 3-4 chicken wings, split at the joint into 2 pieces each (meaning 8 pieces in total). It sits on the pitta bread

Holy cow, yum! This place was great!
I ordered the Falafel and also a portion of bulgar rice. I was blown away by how flavourful and delicious everything on my plate was. I got to try a bite of my boyfriend's dish, which was Chicken Beyti, and I had major food envy!

I loved this place! I cannot stress enough how much I don't usually like Greek and Turkish food and how I have to have my arm twisted to go in anywhere that focuses on bread, oil and chickpeas. I was feeling more flexible than usual and decided that I would be able to find something I liked on the menu, since my friend was so set on going here.
Well, it was a revelation! First, the service was lovely - it was a very quiet lunchtime, so we had quite a lot of attention from the very friendly guy who was serving. We were also starving, so ordered hummus and some yoghurt and cucumber/mint thing

Lovely Turkish food! I had the mixed grill with chips, a beautifully prepared salad and a wicked tasting garlic sauce. The meat was juicy, tender and plenty full. Very well priced and the service was top notch!! Its my local restaurant so I go as often as possible. I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a quailty mixed grill. Well done Hisar!! Keep it up ;)

This place is a real gem; no nonsense Turkish food to eat in or takeaway. Truely some of the best Turkish food I've had outside Turkey; for takeaway, the lamb shish with "rice" ( actually bulgar wheat) is stellar. If you're eating in, consider the quail if it's still on the menu. You won't leave here hungry, but rather with the warm glow of Anatolian soul food inside you.

If you're looking for a great Turkish restaurant then this is the place to go. The food is delicious! The lamb beyti with bulgar wheat is one of the best items on the menu!
The wait staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The wine list contains a lot of Turkish bottles which are very nice indeed.
Definitely a great place to go for a relaxed meal.
They also have a take away place next door for late night eating or on the go food!
