I was always creative as I grew up, with inspiration all around me in the form of textiles. My father worked for a thread company and my mother was and still is a keen seamstress with a beautiful embroidery hobby. Although my creativity started with fabrics and wool, this quickly turned to sketching our stunning surroundings in Cardross, Scotland where I grew up.
British jewellery designer Linda Macdonald established her business in 1997, as a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art. Linda has a workshop in Cardross, Argyll and Bute on the West Coast of Scotland. The pieces made in the workshop are also supplied to many beautiful shops and galleries throughout Britain.

My partner had my engagement ring designed by Linda. I am in love with it.
Such beautiful jewellery designs. I have also been gifted several of her store pieces. I'm very fussy and hard to buy jewellery for. So to find a designer that creates many pieces I like wearing is a rarity. Will definitely continue to follow her work.

When I first saw the necklace with the small heart pendant I fell in love, to the point my boyfriend purchased it for me 2 months early of my birthday and gave it to me right away; I couldn’t wait to put it on and has easily became my necklace of choice and there was more days than not where I wore it. There are several designs by Linda that have this unique, simple, elegance to them. I first saw her work in a boutique in Bath and then again throughout several locations in Scotland; I have loved being able to find her work easily and have acquired a few pieces throughout the past year and a half

My wife recently lost her favourite ring we bought from Linda three years ago. I emailed on Monday to ask if Linda had kept a record of the order.
