Hi my name is Bernie Meagh I was also known as Bernie Egan before 2006 when I got married. I have 19 years of experience working as a counsellor in schools, colleges, and at several local government services. I work with a variety of problems such as anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, self-harming, eating disorders, relationship issues, low self-esteem, stress and lack of direction in life' and parent support.

I have worked as Therapist for the Education, Local Government, The NHS, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and in private practice for many years. I have considerable experience in helping children, families, adults and couples overcome their difficulties so they may enjoy life. I am also very experienced in giving supervision to other therapists, and to counsellors working with children and adults.
Helen and Bernie set up The Parenting Hub as a result of their extensive experience working with parents and young people within the Education sector. Helen, a qualified teacher, has over 10 years experience supporting young people finding their way back into education after poor physical or emotional health.

We can also liaise with schools who are interested in offering something to parents or asking us to work with children and young people in order to tailor the course to address the specific challenges the families or school may be facing.
