We are a private psychotherapy practice located at the heart of West Didsbury, South Manchester. We offer individual psychotherapy and counselling, group therapy, couple therapy and marriage counselling as well life coaching, creativity coaching and employee assistance for the private and public sector.

We provide a safe and private environment for you to feel comfortable. You can read some of the positive testimonials we get from clients on the right. Your privacy and confidentiality are important to us and our clients rarely meet in the waiting room. We offer a wide range of therapies to fit your individual needs and wants.
Services
The Centre is a private practice furnished to our clients' needs. Coming to a talk to someone you don't know yet about your private life, thoughts and needs can be a daunting experience. Therefore your comfort is very important to us. Many clients have commented on how comfortable the space is and how safe they feel.
Psychotherapy helps gaining insight into what makes us who we are and understand our difficulties. By looking at thinking, feeling, beliefs and behavioural patterns, as well at individual history, relationships and motivation a greater understanding can then lead to positive change.

Depending on the nature of your problem, therapy can be short or long term and can be provided on a one-to-one basis, for couples, families and within psychotherapy groups.
Although the terms psychotherapy and counselling are used interchangeably and there are similarities, there are also distinct differences. Both the main UK governing bodies UKCP and BACP have different views on whether there actually is a difference. Here we focus mainly on what qualifications and training are required to either become a psychotherapist or counsellor and what each can and cannot do when working with clients.
TA Psychotherapy is an integrative and humanistic approach within psychotherapy with it's roots in psychoanalytic and cognitive approaches. It is a theory of personality and development as well as transactions between people and the environment. Mindfulness has it's roots in Mindfulness Meditation.
Sometimes it might be useful to join a therapy group. Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and Counselling has been designed as a group therapy and this has many advantages. Group size is usually between 4-6. So when is it best to join a group? A group is facilitated safely and at the beginning of the group we contract with each member on how much time they need in that particular session and make sure that you have a satisfactory experience.

I've called every day for 2 weeks, left an answerphone message, sent an email. No response at all! I'm trying so hard because this place comes highly recommended to me so it feels like a safe option but it's a shame no one can even be bothered to tell me they can't take me right now.

I've contacted them 3 times with no response. I phoned them and left a voicemail along with using the contact us form on the website twice and heard nothing. Absolutely shocking service, don't bother trying.

Rang Monday morning - no one there.
Got a callback early afternoon. Was told that the person I needed to see would ring me within a couple of hours.
Now Wednesday morning and nothing so far.
Really unprofessional and leaves me with no confidence in them.
