In 2019 I bought a car from Lexus Woodford. The garage offered me to purchase additional insurances for body minor damages protections. I thought that everything would be done within a Lexus, so I agreed to buy it. Unfortunately, as it turned out, the insurance was from smartinsurance.com. When I contacted them with a list of all minor defects on my car, the company refused to fix it. The company used their T&C to avoid repairing my vehicle. I had a brochure from Lexus directly with an explanation of all coverage. However, Smartinsurance decided to ignore that brochure and

Took out life insurance as the rates seemed reasonable. Once i received the documents in the post , it told a different story. The premium increased by over by 800% in year 25......very misleading for a company that is regulated. If they explained at the beginning i would have asked for a different option, now i will look elsewhere.

Do not agree to this fraudulent company! Renault sold this smart insurance to me when I bought my car, i was informed they will fix any dent or scratches but everytime i got in touch, they keep refusing, last time my car was dented, I sent them a photo ,they approved the repair, next thing they asked me to pay excesses which was never in the contract, i paid, the repairer came and refused to fix the dent. 1000 pounds was a waste , never have anything to do with them. They are rip off. 😣

I feel that I must complain about my experience with Smart Insurance & also make others aware.
I made an enquiry online. Then I got a call whilst at work. So, after stating that I was at work I agreed to somebody calling me one evening instead. So far so good.
I then got a call from "Harry" late afternoon one day. I explained that I was in bed in alot of pain/ not feeling the best & so asked for a call back in a few days to which Harry said he just needed to ask a few questions & then he would call back another day. I reluctantly agreed to answer said questions, but the "few questions" turned
