The exact cost will depend on the individual circumstances of the matter. For example, if there is one beneficiary and no property, costs will be at the lower end of the range. If there are multiple beneficiaries, a property and multiple bank accounts, costs will be at the higher end. There is no inheritance tax payable and the executors do not need to submit a full account to HMRC.

Used previous for my nans will and was pleased enough to use again, however when needing solely a transfer of equity I believe I was massively over charged.
Beliefs aside many of the latest reviews on Google echo the service received, computer systyms down on multiple occasions, receptionists who when requesting help quoted "so what are you saying, that you wish to use another conveyancer?"
Also mistakes made by solicitors more than twice barely responsive taking sometimes over a week to respond to emails or calls.
Both my conveyancer and her assistant have since left the firm

I contacted the receptionist of a particular named solicitor numerous times to enquire regarding a new case. I left numerous voicemails explaining my legal case and at no point did they nor anyone contact me back on the details I had given, telephone number and email. Being a professional person myself, I have never experienced such poor communication. At no point when I called the direct number did anyone answer, always went to voicemail and no return call was ever made. Considering the nature of the case, the service or lack of was absolutely unprofessional and ignorant.

These cowboys are handling the sale of a house we are trying to buy. After 4 months it’s still not done down to this unprofessional company.
They don’t answer the phone, don’t reply to emails, have refused to act on instructions. Helen is a waste of space
No way would I ever use them, they don’t care and need to go out of business

Was extremely disappointed with the service I received at THC.
Whilst the house sale we used them for went ahead largely without issue, the communication I received as a client was virtually non existent.
I was unable to raise my designated solicitor for 2 weeks prior to the exchange/completion, who had their phone off for the entire duration and unresponsive to emails. The individual specified on voicemail for a redirect also appeared to be away for the entire time.
This carried on up to the exchange/completion, which caused unnecessary delay and frustration to the other end of the chain in

I used them to move house because 20 years ago, we used them to buy the house in the first place. Whilst I didn't expect them to remember us, I did expect them to still hold some basic information on us.
Now to be fair, the move went through and they reassured me about various mortgage delays (hence 3 stars, not 1), so they did their job. But they were quite sloppy. On most of the initial paperwork, they got our postcode and post town wrong (so just the house number and street were right). We had to correct them several times before they got the hang of our address. The correct address is quite
