The founder has been building and repairing bicycles since he was 11. (Amongst many other things.) We are Cytech qualified, professional and caring mechanics. So, from keeping your daily commuter in top fettle for the winter to rebuilding an 80's Reynolds steel racer into a "fixie" or delicately servicing your carbon dripped sunday best.
We are a little different - you get a mobile professional bike mechanic at your home, office or wherever you need, or you can drop your bike to us 10am until 11pm - 7 days a week. Just give us a shout.

Standalone Item Repairs are subject to a minimum call out charge of 18 (although if you drop your bike round there is no minimum.) If you have more than one problem to repair on your bike from the "Standalone" menu you receive a 5 overall discount on your bill. Wipe and lubricate chain and chainrings.

Bike was busted and needed a new chain and chain ring. Everywhere else was booked up for 3-4 weeks, got in touch with Martin and he got me down straight away. Seriously knowledgable guy and tells you everything there and then what he’ll be doing on the job including price breakdown, which was extremely reasonable! Job was done in 2-3 days. Highly recommend and will be going back in future!

I can't comment on the bike repair or service as didn't get that far, chose this company based on the great reviews. However I found them very difficult to liaise with, perfectly polite but disorganised and did not turn up twice for when collection was arranged. Poor communication and wouldn't contact again. I ended up using a different service with very quick turnaround and collection no fuss, avoid if you want a simple no fuss service.

Fantastic service from Martin and the lads from Never mind the bikes. I bought 2 bickerton folding bikes and needed a bike mechanic to build them up out of the box and check them over. Martin is a true gent and is an expert. Very friendly and professional. The lad who works in for him was very courteous showing my wife how to fold and unfold her bike.if you need a bike building up or fixing / maintenance definitely ring them . Very reasonable price and a true cycling artisan. Very impressed

Really not sure where to start. I initially called up to enquire about repairing a front derailleur and was told to my bring my bike to the workshop which I did the following day. Once at the shop I was advised that a bit more work needed to be done on the bike and it will be upto 10 days. On the agreed day I came down from north Manchester and was told the bike wouldn't be ready for another 2 hours (no communication from the shop to advise) ok, 2 hours turned into 3 hours.. £65 turned into £85.. ok repairs needed to be done I understand.. what I wasn't ready for was the bike having a number
