Whitley Golf Club
Whitley Golf Club is a 9-hole golf course in West Wiltshire who welcome all levels of players. We are famed for our friendly atmosphere, welcoming everyone whether they are complete beginners or more experienced golfers. This flat Parkland course is suited to people of all ages and ability. The course opened in 1993 after converting some of the farmland on the family dairy farm with the objective of getting people into golf.

It is now a thriving pay as you play Golf Club which also has memberships available. The Clubhouse is fully licensed, open to members and non members alike where you can enjoy a drink and a light snack whether you are playing golf or not. The clubhouse has a lively social scene which is made up not only of golfers but also many of the local villagers who use the facilities as their 'local'.
Services
We are a 9 hole course with two different sets of tees on each hole, some of which make the holes dramatically different. The nature of the course means that you can play a number of holes in different ways - conservatively with an iron or aggressively with the driver, herein where the challenge lies.
A practice bunker is also available by the chipping green to improve your sand save stats! Our full time PGA Pro is Rob Morris. Rob is a well known coach in Wiltshire, having done a lot of work with county teams, and he is an outstanding asset at the club. Please note that lessons can be tailored to your needs, so let Rob know what you want to achieve!
The Clubhouse is fully licensed and open to members and non members alike where you can enjoy a drink and a light snack whether you are playing golf or not. As well as the sitting room inside we have outside decking that provides a fine spot to relax and keep an eye over others trying to master the game!

Played a one ball there today and thoroughly enjoyed it, staff were super helpful, course was in good condition nice greens, bunkers with decent amount sand and had been raked, numerous groups let me play through and guided me on the next hole plus 18 holes for £18 bargain 👍👍

I had a negative experience with this golf club. After making a last minute booking the night before for a morning tee time, Storm Evert arrived and made our tee slot unplayable. The club used the Ts and Cs against us and refused to provide a refund, which of course they are entitled to. But in this case, we had not cost them any business because of our late booking and only didn’t play because of conditions that were out of our control. If we had booked over the phone we wouldn’t have had to pay upfront so it’s disappointing that the rules are only selectively being applied to online bookers

Lovely little 9 hole course with some challenging holes. Definitely worth a visit. Book before you do as it can get busy

Great driving range. Haven't played the course but looks enjoyable and open great intermediate players and those who are not looking for a massively difficult challenge.

Fun and relaxed atmosphere. If your just starting out, it’s perfect. Reasonable membership costs and the added benefit of an official handicap and a County Card that lets you play other courses at discounted rates 👍

Just played 9 holes (jan 2020) and considering all the wet weather the team have got the course in very good condition! All greens open (a few boggy bits but that was fine) and the rest of the course played well for winter conditions :)
