Danny & Mariana at front desk with unbelievably helpful gave us a perfect sized sea view room & as it was so nice we decided to stay another night ! Which they sorted with such ease .

I booked a twin room as this was all that was available at the time. The booking specifically asked whether I wanted two separate beds, or one big bed.
I chose on big bed - for me, and my girlfriend.
shortly after going to bed - we realised that these were two very old, not fit for purpose singles that could be zipped together to form one bigger bed - no problem for us. Except that the mattresses would slide apart and we would both fall through the middle. Continuously.
The zips were filthy and broken or completely undone, and there was a towel that had been placed underneath the mattress already

The Hôtel was warm, and friendly, staff In all departments, very helpful, and obliging, The Hôtel is old, and a little tried, but think it adds to it charm , especially at Christmas. Great location , for all thing Brighton. We only stayed one night, had dinner and breakfast their , which was great value for money. Highly recommend for customer service comfort and value for money

Booked in for a £60 per head Christmas meal with all inclusive drinks. The meal was lovely, but there were a few moments that really upset our party. The 3 lads behind were very slow and just kept making mistakes through the evening. I asked for a double rum & coke, and was given a single with the glass filled with coke, I said I couldn’t taste the rum, I was then told that I would need to pay for an extra shot. He then threw my drink in the sink and made me a new one without so much coke. What a waste! Then after 10pm there was only one bar man, who was clearly told to slow down serving people

It was lovely. Old, but clean, very warm. Big room, very comfy large bed. Staff very friendly and helpful
Only complaint bathroom door didn't shut . But was not a huge worry
So convenient for The Lanes, car parking, the pier. Opposite the sea. Dinner was lovely and breakfast good menu and fresh.
Would definitely go again . I think dog friendly not sure....
There is a lift.
Well recommend.

Absolutely marvelous! Every single member of staff were very nice, efficient, courteous and helpful. The two rooms we occupied on this occasion were very nice, reasonably spacious and comfortable.
The bonus of some rooms being dog friendly was superb, our puppy had a lovely break away from our very busy household and had lots of new experiences and lovely walks along the seafront.
We have already booked our next visit and we CAN NOT offer a greater review than to book a return visit prior to booking out from this one.
Thanks to all the staff, both customer facing and those more in the background

Lovely old hotel with plenty of original features including the lovely slow lift.
It's a bit tired but without being tatty.
The welcome was warm and friendly, the room was a good size with a comfy bed and super clean. Breakfast was lovely with a great choice. Parking is available on site or you can park in the lanes car park next door. Fantastic location.

I'm so glad that Manchester is now doing what London has done with its old buildings in the city centre. This was a great place to crash. I felt I was in an international chain-quality hotel instead of a budget hotel. And this was super budget! It looks as if it was updated within a year. My room was clean, bright, nothing old and tatty like many of the London hotels now. I thought it was going to be loud with my room facing Piccadilly Gardens and single-pane windows. But it wasn't loud after midnight. Though, the hotel would do well to incorporate secondary glazing. On my way to check

We checked in yesterday and must say I've never met such warm, kind and helpful staff . We are staying here until furniture arrives in our new home and although they don't do full dinner menu they offered that we order take away and they would let us use their space with dishes and Cutlery. We was made to feel welcome with our little dog ! I'm so happy we stayed here . It's very cheap for the high standards

We needed to book a hotel asap as our last hotel was horrendous.
The location was amazing. Very central. Walking distance from the Arndale and Chinatown.
I booked the hotel online and arrived half an hour later around 11.30am and were able to check in early! The receptionist was so lovely, polite and informative. The whole process took around 5 minutes.
Took the lift up to the room. The huge widows brings in loads of light. Spacious room. The furniture was a bit dated bit probably purposeful due to the boutique style of the hotel. Clean bedroom and bathroom. The shower probably has the best

I booked a really cheap deal at the Gardens Hotel in Manchester for a Christmas Shopping Trip. I was able to get a Double Room for the bargain price of £13 with a Discount voucher when I registered with a well known hotels website.
Because it was only £13 my expectations of this 3* Hotel were not high, if I had of paid the full asking price £45 per night I may have been a little dissapointed.
For me Location was the top priority and being located opposite Piccadilly Gardens was a bonus, less to walk when carrying all those Primark bags! Which incidently is only approx 150 yards away from

We choose this hotel as we had tickets at the MEN arena and the apollo and this hotel was within walking distance of both venues. The rooms are small and there was no main light in the room, just lamps. However, the bed was comfortable and tea and coffee were provided. The hotel is situated about 5 minutes walk away from Picadilly train station, about 15 minutes walk to the MEN arena and around 15-20 minutes walk to the Manchester Apollo. Even though the hotel was situated on the main street, in our room we couldn't hear any of the outside noise.
