Had the non vegetarian dinner for two, which included chicken pakora, butter chicken, lamb masala, chicken curry, naan, and a dessert. The appetizer was meh, but everything else was really good. Super flavorful, and plenty of food (shared the dinner for two between three people and it was more than enough). Service was a bit slow, but we had a large group and it was new year's eve, so that might explain it. Would definitely go again!

The food at this place is amazing! We got the vegetarian appetizer platter and the chicken 65. It was all perfectly cooked and the flavors are exceptional! We got the dinner for two combination platter with buttered chicken curry, buttered lamb curry, and chicken curry. It came with nan bread and rice and a dessert. For dessert we got the fried sweet cottage cheese balls. It was worth every penny. I totally recommend trying this place. The service was fantastic and the food extraordinary!

Terrible service. Our waitress was very rude, and told us to get lost when we asked questions regarding undelivered food. I had ordered Navratan korna and my husband, the vegetable curry. We waited over 30 min for our food, at which point we were told that they were “out” of one of the two dishes we’d ordered. When we asked why we weren’t informed earlier, the individual who came with the one dish told us that our server was new, and that she wouldn’t be held responsible, as she “didn’t do it.” When we asked to talk to our server, we were told to get lost. Not having eaten, we left

I can understand people being frustrated with staff, but I don't understand the negative food comments, the food here is amazing! I've been ordering from them for years and it is consistently delicious. I always order takeout and have never had a problem with getting the wrong food. The food is always piping hot and I think people should give it a chance as takeout if you didn't enjoy the inhouse experience

Food was OK. Service was horrbile, the staff who took the order was courteous but the one who served was just banged the appetizer plates in front of each on the table. Also, when we entered the restaurant, we were asked for how big is the group and after that were told rudely that it is open only for dine in, which is fine as we definitely knew in times of covid buffet is closed. Also, had to ask for main course plates quite a few times before, they would be placed. Would not recommend anyone to be their customers

I've been to India (and had authentic homemade Indian food there from locals) and my long term boyfriend's family is from India and they make me homemade authentic Indian food all the time. So, it's safe to say I know my Indian food.
Not impressed. I think it has changed in the last 5 years, or maybe it just tasted better before I knew what authentic Indian food was like. Definitely isn't the best Indian restaurant in Madison and it is very different from authentic Indian food (sub-par). My favorite place is Swagat. Amber Indian Cuisine is good too.

Food was decent for the price of 12 dollars. As per taste i touched upon the indian cuisine and flavours. Good to get yourself acquainted to indian food for the first. For a buffet there could be more variety. But service was by far the biggest ditractor. The waiter is rude and was very casual with his service. Not a person yto tip. Althought in India its not costumory to tip the waiter at all....
