Glenardran House
Rod & Andrea will ensure you receive a warm welcome and a comfortable and pleasurable stay whether it be just an overnight stopover or a longer stay, to enable you to enjoy a 'mini' break in Scotland. Glenardran House is a late Victorian villa (formerly the Station Masters house for the old Callander to Oban railway line), situated in the centre of Crianlarich, therefore convenient for all local amenities.

We have 5 Comfortable en-suite B&B Letting Bedrooms (including family rooms and a single).

Crianlarich is often described as the 'middle of nowhere in the middle of everywhere' due to its unique location at the junction of the A82 road heading North out of Glasgow to Fort William and beyond and the A84/A85 running East to West from Perth and Stirling - as such it's an ideal touring base for visiting many of Scotland's top attractions as diverse as the splendid Highlands scenery to more cultural attractions in Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Services
We have 5 spacious and well appointed rooms, 2 family, a double, a twin and a smaller room with bunk beds, all with en suite facilities. The double room has a bath with shower over, the other rooms have shower only. All rooms have colour tv (satellite), alarm clock, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Guests may check in from 3pm. Check out time is 10am prompt. Late check out can be arranged from 20. (24 hours notice required) Please enquire for more details. LATE ARRIVALS - Please note you will be charged a 20 late check in fee after 9pm (unless pre arranged). This is payable along with the reservation bill.
Unfortunately we do not provide evening meals but you can have tea/coffee and a toast for only 5.95. There is a good selection of eateries within the village. Mobile phone reception can be poor - there is a phone box within a 5 minute walk into the village. There is a local shop with a post office and cash withdrawal facilities within a 5 minute walk.
From the South on the A82 (via Glasgow and Loch Lomond) - once in Crianlarich, at the T junction turn right onto the A85 road and proceed approx 250 yds - pass the Rod and Reel public House on the right hand side of the road. Glenardran House is the 2nd house on the right beyond the pub.

From the North on the A82 (via Fort William) or A85 (via Oban) - on entering Crianlarich continue on the A85 and pass the Rod and Reel public House on the right hand side of the road. From the East on the A85 (via Stirling) - on entering the village Glenardran House is the first house on the left hand side of the road approx 250 yds after the Forestry Commission car park and walks.

My wife and I stayed here 5 years ago and have reminisced fondly of our stay ever since. It was such a warm and comfortable place to stay. We loved getting sack lunches before we headed out on daily activities and got filled up with great food every morning. We will definitely be staying here again should we ever find our way back to the area!

Our stay at the Glenardran Guest house was more than excellent.
Rod and Andrea are so welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were hiking and camping along the West Highland Way and decided to do a BnB last minute for 1 night. We misjudged the hiking distance that day and got stuck in a downpour late at night in the dark. Completely soaked through, cold and still being a ways from the Guest House and with no solution available, Rod found a way to get us there.
Glenardran Guest House was so cozy and had everything we could have needed. It was a lovely stay. Rod and Andrea are

The owners Andrea and Rod are fantastic. They served an incredible breakfast every morning and took care of every detail. We have a little 1 year girl and they gave special attention to her 🙂

Stayed one night to rest during the West Highland Way. The owner is really a sweet guy that provide us with all the information that we needed. The room was perfectly clean and cozy. Breakfast in the morning was spectacular! If I were again in Crianlarich I would definitely stay at Glenardran!
