All our clinics are now back to normal. Please do phone Practice Manager Jane Masucci on 07951 292007 if you need any additional information. Welcome to Masucci Podiatry Limited, one of the most experienced podiatrists in the UK. For over 20 years, we have been examining, diagnosing and treating clients who have problems with feet and ankles.
Feet and ankles, and the bones within, are an important part of the body. They are subject to infection and injury and are often the cause of poor posture, knee, hip and back problems. In addition, these limbs may be the first indicator of more serious medical conditions. Depending on our diagnosis treatments may include surgical or conservative options, with after-care and rehabilitation recommendations and solutions.

A bunion is a lump that appears at the base of a big toe at the joint. A bunion forms when the big toe compresses against the second toe whereby the joint of the big toe grows larger. The foot bone distends or sticks out and the skin on the foot may become reddened and painful. Podiatry bunions may also appear on little toes and on the sides of the joint at the base of the little toe and these are referred to as Tailor's bunionettes.
Ingrowing toenails are a common painful problem. Often clients have had an ingrowing toenail for some time and they may have been prescribed several courses of antibiotics. Ingrowing toenails will not settle until the ingrowing part of the nail is removed. The procedure will be under local anaesthetic within a treatment room in the Outpatients ward in one of our clinics.
Treatment and removal of verrucas by Nicholas Masucci, a specialist with 20 years experience in podiatry. Treatment may include shaving of the verruca or removal of the verruca using cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) or salicylic acid. If Mr Masucci advises electrocautory treatment this will be under a local anaesthetic in one of our chosen treatment rooms.
A foot neuroma affects the nerves in the feet - the common plantar digital nerves between the metatarsal bones in the foot. A foot neuroma typically affects the nerve between the third and fourth metatarsal bones resulting in numbness and pain in the third and fourth toes. A foot neuroma may also affect the nerve between the second and third metatarsal bones, thereby resulting in numbness in the second and third toes.
Podiatry orthotics include insoles and specialist orthopaedic footwear such as an Aircast boot, tension night splint and adjustable footwear which support the feet and ankles. Secondary support from podiatry orthotics can support the knees, legs and the spine. A full Orthotics, Orthoses and biomechanical assessment service is available from Masucci Podiatry.

Mr Masucci is someone that offers a wealth of experience within his field and myself and my wife have consulted with him over many years to aid complex problems with painful conditions concerning the feet and difficulties in walking pain free. We have found his practice to offer a very professional approach to diagnosis which centres on getting to the root of foot problems. After years of searching for someone who will listen and understand the need to properly examine the causes of foot pain it was only Mr Masucci and his knowledge that led us to discover that foot pain can have many surprising

Very negative experience. The visit lasted 10min, only visual examination, no treatment or medication prescribed. Prior to the visit insurance company indicated that the visit will be covered and I never got any indication of price. The clinics billed me post factum around 2 weeks after for £150 and I had to pay £100 from my personal account.
