Services
The aim is to detect whether your lower limb biomechanics and gait are contributing to your pain/injury/problem. The duration of the assessment is one hour. During the assessment, the range of motion of the lower limb joints will be examined including feet, ankles, knees and hips. Muscle flexibility will also be examined in relation to the effect upon your gait.
In addition to providing routine Chiropody, Gillian's special interest lies in lower limb biomechanics and orthoses with a particular interest towards sports injuries and sports podiatry. She has been privileged to have worked within professional sport with Q.P.R and Luton Town F.C and also with Wasps Rugby team.
Verrucae are an extremely common skin infection caused by the Human Papilloma Virus. They are experienced by most people at some time during their lives. Although most verrucae will spontaneously disappear without treatment, many patients seek treatment, as the verrucae may become painful or start to spread.
We love to hear back from your patients. Please feel free to browse through their testimonials for the Gillian A Michael team, or why not leave our team a review on Google. I was born with a bilateral foot deformity and consequently have seen many chiropodists/podiatrists on a monthly basis for my whole adult life.

I was born with a bilateral foot deformity and consequently have seen many chiropodists/podiatrists on a monthly basis for my whole adult life. I can honestly say that wish I had met Gillian years ago. Her care/attention to detail/experience has helped me enormously where others have not. Thank you Gillian- you're the best.

I saw Gillian this December 2018 for painful plantar fasciitis. She put orthotics in my shoes and instantly the pain went away! It's still grumbling away though so I have to work on it with exercises but the difference with orthotics was immediate and a great relief !
