The studio is situated on Acklam Road under the Westway, right in the heart of the bustling Portobello Neighborhood - just minutes from Notting Hill. The walls are crammed with prints and paintings I have accumulated over the years, which makes it a slightly eccentric workspace. What I offer here is the best possible treatment for your injury and an effective holistic fitness programme in a friendly and stimulating environment.
Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy, which can be used to diagnose, treat and prevent a wide range musculoskeletal conditions of the spine and extremities it is based on fundamental principles set out by its founder A.T Still. It is a physical and mental discipline that aims to restore normal structure and function within the body.
Pilates is a form of exercise that was devised in the early 1920s by Joseph Pilates. Pilates is an excellent tool for rehabilitation from injury and can offer relief from chronic back conditions and many other disorders, it can be more effective when combined with Gyrotonic and osteopathy. It is ideal for beginners of all ages and those new to exercise but can also be done at an advanced level to challenge even the most seasoned exercise fanatic.
Gyrotonic is a holistic exercise system, and a fantastic way to keep fit, flexible and strong. It consists of circular, spiralling and rhythmical movements that promote deep strength and flexibility. Some of the exercises are very challenging and strengthening but cause surprisingly little stiffness the following day.
