Are you planning a celebratory meal, a get together with family or friends or even an intimate wedding breakfast? Ascough's is the perfect venue for entertaining up to 16 guests. Ascough's lunch and dinner party menus for reservations of 8 or more diners are so reasonably priced that bringing a large party is both enjoyable and affordable!
If you are thinking of meeting up with a friend in your lunch hour or meeting clients or associates for a business lunch, Ascough's recognise the need for speed and promise to serve two courses in 40 minutes. These conditions only apply to pre-booked tables who inform the restaurant that they will be on a business lunch at the time of making the booking.
Ascough's prides itself on serving delicious contemporary dishes using quality sourced ingredients from local suppliers such as Joseph Morris Butchers, Emerson and West, The Langton Brewery and Duncan Murray Wines. Everything is produced on the premises from bread and biscuits to ice creams and sorbets.
All of our wines and beverages have been carefully selected from local suppliers such as Duncan Murray Wines, The Langton Brewery, Potbelly Brewery and Saxby's and larger commercial companies such as Hallgarten Druitt, Bablake, Majestics and Francis Wines. Our white and red wines are placed in order of style, allowing you to find your preferred grape variety more efficiently.
All public car parks in Market Harborough are pay and display up until 6pm. The nearest car park is on St Mary's road and is situated on the same side of the road as the restaurant 20 metres before/after it. Alternative parking can be found on Sainsburys carpark. Our restaurant is accesible via a foot bridge over the river welland from Sainsburys car park.

What is not to love about this place? Having dined at Ascoughs many times & sampled their takeaway menu through lockdown, I didn’t hesitate to order one of their Christmas hampers this year. It didn’t disappoint and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Great value, fantastic selection of dishes, incredibly delicious and quite simply took the stress out of Christmas dinner. As I normally do the cooking, I think I’ll be ordering one of Ascoughs hampers next year as a little Christmas treat to myself. Thank you Ascoughs, you’ve nailed it again!😊
