Tandridge Golf Club
Celebrated golf architect Harry Colt created this delightful course at Tandridge in 1924. Strategically placed bunkers call for accuracy from the tee, plateau greens make for demanding approach shots and subtle borrows on the fine surfaces test your putting. The course has been fully restored and updated by Frank Pont, a specialist in Colt's design principles.

Since then, England Golf has staged the English Women's Open Amateur Strokeplay on the course and the feedback from visitors is consistently excellent. With the condition of the course matching the quality of the redesign, we are delighted to be ranked in Golf Monthly's Top 100 Courses for the UK & Ireland for 2019 and 2020.

A warm welcome awaits you in the clubhouse, which has all the characteristics of a traditional golf club, with prizewinners' boards and golfing memorabilia on the walls. Relax after your game with a drink and a snack in The Harry Colt Spike Bar or on the Terrace, or enjoy a full meal in the Restaurant.
It has been the favourite of the dessert selection for over 30 years. This traditional steamed pudding is crammed with seven fruits, embellished with mixed spices, brown sugar and golden syrup, served with custard or cream, it is probably the best hot pudding in England, if not the World! The legend is that it adds another 10 yards to your drive!

A stunning club in what feels like almost a hidden location. The staff, cuisine and facilities are first class and as of late the golf course is simply one of the best we have on the British Isles…

Played on a society day and it was fantastic experience. The course was in wonderful condition, fairways were immaculate and the greens exceptional. Two very different nines both very challenging, the strategic bunker placement and tricky fast undulating greens are its main defence. The food was wonderful and hospitality shown by the staff exemplary, thank you Tandridge Golf Club for a wonderful day out

Nice course. Back 9 has some panoramic views. Lots of bunkers. Possibly too many and of similar design. Greens in good condition quite difficult to read all of the slopes. Food is probably the best in Surrey.

Following the cold snap and a couple of days of snow up on the downs we found the course in a very playable condition. From arrival with bacon sandwiches in the oak beamed lounge to tea and cake after nine and a pint or two afterwards the welcome and service was impeccable. The course itself will test the best of players with heavily defended and contoured greens. Higher handicappers will also enjoy with fairly forgiving open fairways with good access from the tee.
It is a course which is impressive, enjoyable and demanding in equal measure.
