Established in 1906, Chipstead Golf Club is a fixture of the Surrey hills that for over a century has welcomed visitors with pastoral views of the surrounding country, and the familiar serenity only found between tee and fairway. We are exceptionally proud of the people at Chipstead Golf Club who have masses of passion and put in huge efforts to make everyone's experience fun, exciting and memorable.

Services
One of the biggest benefits of golf membership at a well-established golf club is the course. It is always in good condition and genuinely available (exceptional conditions apart) 365 days of the year. Unlimited play, no booking times except for competitions (subject to membership category restrictions).
Chipstead Golf Club would like to thank all NHS workers for the incredible work they are doing at this difficult time. We really want to welcome as many NHS workers as possible to take advantage of this offer. Our club is set amongst the glorious Surrey hills with stunning scenery and we really think it offers tranquillity and will be a world away from the very exhausting and stressful period in their lives.
Getting juniors engaged and playing golf is one of the things we do really well here at Chipstead, with our great range of junior programmes, including after school, weekend, and holiday camps so your young golfer can get out on the course all year round. Nic Torbett, our club Pro, has been teaching junior golf for over ten years and knows how enjoyable and rewarding the game of golf can be.
As a Sun Protection Accredited club, we have pledged to raise awareness of sun protection to our staff and members. Melanoma is one of the UK's fastest rising cancers, mainly affecting those who spend lots of time outdoors without sun protection. Incidence in women has more than doubled, and for men tripled in the last 30 years.
The Clubhouse and Halfway House offer a range of enticing food and drink whilst playing golf or enjoy the panoramic surroundings. The Halfway House will be serving soft drinks and hot and cold snacks for you to enjoy as you continue around the course at weekends between 9am and 2pm. As you would expect the team have been working hard to ensure the space is safe and in line with Government guidelines.

Beautiful course, but as a mid teen handicapper of 40yrs, the lack of play-through etiquette from the older members was disgraceful...literally waiting and waiting on every shot on every hole behind 3 and four balls with no intention of letting me through. Gary in the Pro shop was very helpful in explaining the1st/2 tee layout. However, the lack of marshalling on the course wound me up enough to walk off after 9 and will detract me from another visit soon

Course was in fantastic condition considering all the rain we have had, discount on the green fee due to 3 temporary greens which was a nice touch. Only gripe was we got stuck behind a 4 ball who wouldn't let us play through, but it was a saturday morning so just happy to get out as we were not members. There are 3 long par 3s in a row which may not be to everyone's liking.

First time I have played this course. The condition was excellent given the amount of rain we have had recently. The greens were very true and consistent.
Takes a little getting used to the road and priorities given the closeness of some of the tee boxes. That does not detract from the course though.
An enjoyable experience and one that I will do again.
