Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club was founded in 1894. The course, designed by the great Harry S Colt, is set among mature oaks on the slopes of Sydenham Hill, overlooking Dulwich College, and enjoys a deserved lofty status among the capital's golfing elite. The course offers thrills and spills aplenty, delivers risk and reward in equal measure and with some of the the trickiest, yet truest, greens in the south of England; the course is a genuine test for low and high handicap golfers.

I went today with my boyfriend and it was such an unfriendly place it was my worse experience ever. We went to the cafe to ask if it was possible to buy a drink as visitors and a really rude woman said we couldn’t - we totally understand the rule but the way she said it was really unpleasant. We then asked where could we join the club as we were interested, her answer was “it’s downstairs but they are all busy”. We will certainly never come back there again and won’t recommend to any of our friends either. It’s a shame because the view looks amazing. What a sad customer service.
