The Loyalty prices displayed below are for bikes purchased from a Grimsby or Scunthorpe JC Cook Cycles Ltd Stores. The prices listed are guide prices and may vary depending on the age, condition and type of bike. The list provided here is by no means all we do, if you don't see what you need just give us a call or ask in store.
Cycle to Work is a UK Government tax exemption initiative introduced in the Finance Act 1999 to promote healthier journeys to work and to reduce environmental pollution. It allows employers to loan cycles and cyclists' safety equipment to employees as a tax-free benefit. Here at the J C Cook Cycles we work with a number of cycle schemes to help get you on the road with your new bicycle and equipment.

Can't recommend these guys highly enough!
After a delivery problem caused by a national courier J C Cooks went above and beyond to make sure i was able to hit the trails this weekend by delivering my new bike themselves.
Fantastic ccustomer service for which i am extremely grateful, i wont hesitate to use and recommend J C Cook in the future.

Took the bike infor a new tyre and came back the next day to pay for it. I stupidly didnt check the tyre and within 2 weeks i got a puncture. Took it to a different repair shop and tney assured me there is no way in a million years that the tyre was only 2 weeks old.. the thread was coming through all over the place which apparently takes 6 months plus. My friend also took his cheap bike in for new wheels and they charged him over the top for a full servicd as well even though he didnt ask for it... think theyre just trying to cash in on the surge of new cyclists lately. Go elsewhere total rip

Called about a new bike as soon as I mentioned the cycle to work scheme the whole tone of the conversation changed - their loss considering I was looking to spend around £1000 on a bike
Sounded like they are a cash only business and didn’t want the grief of any paperwork or a voucher from a scheme (just the feeling I got from the call)
Was told to get the voucher first? Which isn’t the correct way to go about it when you don’t know what you want to spend?

OK, where do I start with this one..
Bought a bike 2 days ago, but after using it for a day to travel to work and back I noticed the cables where routed incorrectly. Making lots of noise and marking the frames paintwork within a day..
I contacted Cooks through Facebook, as their phones are currently turned off, so impossible to talk to someone direct to explain the issue.
After a small conversation via Facebook, Mr Jones who works at Cooks started to talk to me in a rude and very condescending manner, and basically turned some simple problem into an argument.
Mr Jones then said to bring the

Rang to see about cycle to work scheme my company I work for asked me to go choose a bike and accessories and to go back with the price to my employer to get my voucher. I rang just to go over things and asked if they stocked a particular make of bike and a particular modal I had seen on there website. As soon as I mentioned cycle to work scheme whole different ball game change of attitude basically didn't want to know said to just put a price in and go back with the voucher! Not yes come in we will show you our bikes get a price sorted as my company have asked! Well you have just lost a £1000

Went in store with the intention of purchasing a bike from them but is slightly cheaper online & in stock which we didn’t think would be a problem as they do online price matching however when we enquired about this in store we was informed they have decided not to honour this promise at the moment. This was disappointing to be told given the fact… they have a big sign stating they do price matching up in the store & no mention formally of this not being a thing anymore. We would have liked to support a local business but the member of the team was unwilling to budge on the

Fantastically helpful and laid back staff. You'll get no hard sell here, just sound advice from friendly and knowledgeable people.
They make a damn good coffee as well, which is pretty impressive for a bike shop!
Their mechanic worked wonders on my much neglected bike, and another member of staff fitted me and my daughter with new helmets, happily answering all of my questions and making sure everything was set up for us.
I really can't fault the service and I'll definitely be shopping here in future.
