We are Steph and Richard, owners of Spurwing Guest House. We pride ourselves on our Dorset b&b being a friendly, popular and comfortable chalet-style bungalow, with ground floor accommodation, a large garden with pond and off-road parking. We are conveniently located 5 minutes walk away from the train station and 15 minutes walk away from the historic Saxon market town of Wareham, offering a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

Very nice place to stay. Room was comfortable and very clean. Service was excellent, even offering dressing gown and slippers. Breakfast was excellent with multiple choices. We certainly will use it again and can wholly reccommend.

Just returned from a lovely stay at Spurwing.. We relly enjoyed our time there.. The hosts Steph and Richard are a lovely couple and was made to feel very welcome in their lovely home. Location is excellent. They have a beautiful garden. Would definitely recommend...Thank you both..

Everything was perfect , the ideal location to walk into Wareham, close to the train station ,and easy to get on to the road system to visit other locations. The room was beautiful, clean with a lot of thought and personal care evident. The breakfast was fabulous, well cooked top quality , with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. My wife and I would certainly recommend Steph and Richard as ideal hosts.

Steph & Richard as fantastic as when we all stayed last year. 4 adults. Fabulous food, accommodating a vegan breakfast, biscuits & my choice of dairy free milk. Immaculate, Spacious & tastefully decorated rooms, incredibly comfy king sized bed, lovely shower room with easy to work shower with plenty of pressure. On site car parking. Hosts very welcoming & knowledge of local eating houses & places to visit. Definitely a place we will go back to! Location perfect, quiet, near to main routes and within walking distance of train station. Definitely recommend staying here 😊

Steph and Richard were excellent hosts. They were very welcoming and helpful in every way. The breakfasts were excellent and we had a wonderful table on the patio with a view of the garden. The room and facilities were perfect. It was also close to many of the places you would want to visit in Dorset including the T E Lawrence walk. We would certainly book their establishment again.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Spurwing, Steph and Richard are great hosts. The bedroom and bathroom were fabulous, lovely and clean and well appointed. The bed was the comfiest we’ve ever slept in away from home and the breakfast was delicious. Already booked to stay there again!!😊
