With it's wide variety of scenery around the island incorporating mountains, glens, rivers and moors, not to mention the stunning seascapes, it is a walkers paradise. With castles at Brodick and Lochranza to visit and many more historical locations to explore. Here at Dyemill we have our own favourite locations around the island and we are always happy to share them with our guests.
Lodges and holiday homes are available from Saturday to Saturday (4pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure) unless otherwise agreed. Duvets, pillows, bed linen, a bath mat, oven gloves, a drying up cloth, liquid hand soap, washing up liquid and basic cleaning materials are provided in both the lodges and holiday homes.
Arran is accessible by ferry from Ardrossan on the mainland to Brodick, a 55 minute crossing. In summer there is an additional ferry from Claonaig on the Kintyre peninsula to Lochranza, a 30 minute crossing. It is not possible to book on the Lochranza ferry but, if coming by car via Ardrossan, you are strongly advised to book well in advance.

Superb location to explore beautiful Arran. My first time on the Island and first time travelling with our two large dogs. My husband holidayed here in his teens.
Dyemill lodges are very well equipped, living area spacious enough for me, my 6ft7 husband my visiting inlaws, and our two large dogs.
We originally booked a week, but on arrival, loved the lodges & location, we were fortunate enough to be able to change our reservation to two weeks!
Perfectly located woodland setting with visiting red squirrels, thankfully, no light light pollution(so bring torch or mobile with torch!), no traffic

This is in a beautiful and secluded location. The proprietors were helpful and there was excellent attention to detail before and during our stay. The lodge was well appointed - the kitchen was stocked with enough implements to be able to cook properly. The lodge was very clean.
We stayed in mid September, by that time the lodge was difficult to keep warm - it cooled down quickly, our towels never dried throughout our stay. The path to the lodge although well maintained is not lit and because it is very dark at night can lead to it being disorientating on an unfamiliar route - a torch is a must
