This letting agency is an absolute disgrace. I had an ongoing issue with a leaking ceiling which was not resolved despite several reminders.
This eventually led to a full flood in the building causing damage throughout the property, in addition to other flats and the common areas in the building.
Luckily i'd moved my belongings out of the room in question prior to the incident or i'd have had to claim on my home insurance.
They are now charging me £240 and threatening legal action for cleaning the flat and moving furniture once my tenancy ended despite arranging decorators in the days prior

This is the worst estate agents I have been with in Leeds. I really would avoid if possible. Not really responsive when it came to maintenance issues. E.g. leak coming from the bathroom and making the room below damp. The maintenance man just painted over the stains and didn't look at the bathroom. The stain came back a few months later. The team will message you at midnight and are really hard to get a hold of. Rude staff too

We have just completed the purchase of our new house through City Home. They were great from start to finish and explained anything we were unsure about throughout the process.
We paid a holding deposit when our offer was accepted which gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t be gazumped and we received it back the day we got the keys.

Do not deal with these people!! Wanted to buy a house advertised by them. They tried to make us pay a 2 grand 'holding deposit' (with no contract or terms) just sent me their bank details and a vague promise we'd get it back after completion. This is in contravention of property ombudsmen. Tons of red flags before that; emailing me at all times of day and night, refusing to deal with us by phone, only giving anyones name after offer accepted (prior to that all emails simply signed 'City Homes'. When refused to pay the 2 grand (on advice of solicitor) all contact stopped. Huge waste of our time
