This involves all aspects of battery protection: split charging, start protection, isolation, deep discharge protection, alternator control and battery capacity measurement. We produce a range of easily installed 'off the shelf' modules. The systems rely on detailed knowledge of hybrid switching, high current circuit boards, analogue circuits, microprocessor design and latching contactor control.
Our intelligent ASC+ "compact" is a small, high current latching contactor. It can be used on its own or in pairs to create power management systems from the basic "fit and forget" split charge to a multi battery system. Fully featured, its innovative software is pre-programmed to allow it to be used as an automatic split charge (ASC), auxiliary battery protect (ABP) or engine start protect (ESP).
The high performance battery gauge is a great tool that employs complex software algorithms used to accurately determine your battery state of charge. The battery gauge displays battery voltage, charge and discharge current, consumed amp-hours and remaining battery capacity. Using a large clear backlit LCD display and an intuitive user interface, all parameters can be recalled with just the press of a key.
The ASC+ 12/24V Jump-start creates both a 12V and 24V jump-start feed on a 12V vehicle at the push of a button. The system automatically isolates from the 'donor' vehicle when in use to prevent damage. An audible and visual warning ensures that you know it is in 24V mode for operator safety. After use, the system reverts to 12V mode to allow the cranking batteries to be recharged by the vehicle alternator via a split charge included in the kit.
