We are a friendly school who have been providing Choi Kwang-Do martial arts classes to children and adults in Ealing, West London for over 10 years. Now that you've found us, take a moment to discover what we do, who we are and how to arrange a FREE trial for you or your child. I started Choi Kwang-Do just over 6 years ago and immediately found it not only a good workout and a great method of self defence but also a marvelous stress reliever.
Just to focus for an hour or two each week on something completely outside work and home has been really helpful not only in body but in mind too. Being a little older at 54, I do find some of the kicks a little challenging but after practice I usually pull off a reasonable attempt. I do feel that Choi Kwang-Do is a martial art that all ages can take up and benefit from.

Staying active is an excellent way to enhance your physical, mental and emotional well-being, but if you're stuck at home or unable to attend a class, this can be difficult. Our virtual martial arts classes can provide the perfect balance of physical activity and convenience. Plus, attending a scheduled, online martial arts class with guidance and feedback from an instructor can help to provide the right level of focus, motivation and support.
We teach Choi Kwang-Do: a revolutionary martial arts training programme designed to improve your health and provide you with practical self defence skills. Choi Kwang-Do is based on modern scientific principles from human anatomy, physiology, psychology, kinesiology, neurophysiology and biomechanics.
Jason Wright started his martial arts training in Tae Kwon-Do in 1985 under Grandmaster Marshall Pereira. He achieved his 1st Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in 1988 aged 14. Around the same time, Grandmaster Pereira was introducing Choi Kwang-Do to his Tae Kwon Do schools which resulted in Jason Wright recertifying as a 1st Degree Black Belt in Choi Kwang Do in 1989.
Our children's classes are a great place for children to learn martial arts in a safe and structured environment, building their confidence for the future. Confidence arises from an enhanced feeling of competence, and because Choi Kwang-Do classes are non-competitive, your child will find it easy to learn new self defence skills that will boost their confidence.
Adults training in our classes share a common goal: to enjoy a healthy activity which improves their body and mind, in a positive atmosphere. Physical activity has many proven benefits for both the body and mind. This is great news if you are currently exercising, but what if you're not? How do you imagine yourself in five, ten or even twenty years' time having taken no exercise at all?
