Keswick, a small market town in the Northern Lake District which is encircled by the grandeur of the high fells and lying on the shores of picturesque Derwentwater. An idyllic location not only for all season walking, climbing, sailing, mountain biking, fell running and cycling but also provides a wealth of low level paths and less arduous fells for those who want to take things easier.

Stay in our self catering apartment at Appletrees Guest House. With it's own private entrance, the apartment is entirely self contained and consists of one bedroom with a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. The open plan lounge is simply furnished with a sofa and TV and kitchenette with a cooker, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave.
Enjoy your breakfast whilst taking in the fantastic views from our south facing dining room. We offer a selection of freshly cooked breakfasts, including full English, omelettes with a choice of fillings and vegetarian options. Cereals, fruit, juices and unlimited tea/coffee and toast are also provided.
What a warm and friendly place. Exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated and the owners very friendly. Fantastic views to front & rear of the guest house. Just a 5 minute walk into Keswick town centre and free parking on road out front (2 private parking spaces to rear too). Did I mention the breakfasts?

Excellent B&B with great views from the rooms (see photo). My room was very clean and a good size with lovely toiletries. Was also a guest lounge with free milk (for tea/coffee in your room) and supply of free cake/flapjack if the breakfast didn't fill you up! Breakfast was excellent and very flexible offering cereals, OJ, toast, fruit salad, yogurt, full English, omelettes etc. And perfect location for Keswick and the lake. Catherine was an excellent host. We will return!

First time here and loved it! Host friendly & helpful. Food good, no expense spared on decor or furnishings...very comfortable indeed. Dog friendly and there's a guest lounge with guest fridge! This allows folk to bring in/order a takeaway and eat it in comfort - with stunning views! Plates/cutlery provided...
Covid restrictions still in place but our host did all she could to prevent inconvenience. Very clean establishment with plenty of sanitizing evident.
Keswick is a short, flat walk from Appletrees.

Fantastic place to stay right in the heart of keswick.This guesthouse is so nice and clean and welcoming the views from Appletrees bedrooms look towards the lake breathtaking and it is dog friendly too win win. Breakfast amazing and Catherine even made us packed lunches to take out .Town centre right within walking distance all the food drink n shopping you need . And so many beautiful lakes walks and so picturesque my favourite place to be x Thanks Catherine see you in Oct with all of the family xx

Beautiful B&B, the host Catherine was amazing and so professional, we felt so safe during our stay thanks to their covid measures. We loved how dog friendly everything was and their understanding that not all dogs behave the same. Everything was locally sourced from the shower gel to the coasters which was wonderful to see. Would fully recommend and will definitely stay there again!
