In 2005, Anthony Johnson qualified as a driving instructor passing all of his exams first time and immediately started up his own driving school. Providing driving lessons in Milton Keynes initially, it wasn't long before driveJohnson's started building up a reputation as a trusted, quality driving school that passes pupils quickly.
As a driving school, driveJohnson's thinks differently. We genuinely care about our pupils and our aim is to help you pass fast and first time, while making you a safe driver for life. Fast passes are a speciality of ours and so if you're looking to get on the road quickly, we're the company for you.
Wherever we have a presence, we have an area manager - a qualified driving instructor - who manages and looks after that area. Sometimes the postcode finder doesn't work for everyone. Meet the dedicated driveJohnson's office team who work tirelessly day in day out answering calls, queries and most importantly helping make your driving lessons great. Anthony oversees the whole team, ensuring morale is always high. He spends lots of time making videos and writing informative learning material for the pupils.
At driveJohnson's we believe we have the best instructors in your town or city. We have pitched our prices so they are somewhere in the middle. We aren't the most expensive (as we keep our overheads very low) and we aren't the cheapest, because really good instructors aren't cheap! Like anything in life, if you pay for a really cheap service or product, it often doesn't end well.

My driving instructor was very confident and competent when I was driving through the new roads or learning new skills even though I was not confident enough. I made a lots of mistakes again and again but he was very happy to guide me.It was because of his guidance I pass at first time. Thank you 😍

I passed my driving test at the first time in Mill Hill, London. Thanks to Mr. Ahmed Yasser, who really helped and made me feel comfortable and poised. He always delivers the classes from a high standard of professionalism and the teaching methods along with the visual aids helped me to be a confident and safe driver. He is very punctual, communicated well via text, and gave me a lot of freedom to gain confidence around my local area, then move further to practice A roads and different towns in preparation for my test. Andy was an excellent instructor. I enjoyed his lesson. He was always their explaining over and over again. He was so patient and understanding. He would quickly recognised when I’m about to start panicking and he would talk me through and calm me down. He helped me gain confidence and be positive about myself but most importantly he thought me to fight my fears.
I really can’t thank him enough.

Lee Serwatka is an amazing driving instructor, always remaining calm, compassionate and reassuring even throughout high stress driving experiences. He is extremely flexible and allowed me to have lessons at different times each week to suit my schedule and was always punctual. Lee has a wealth of knowledge and was able to explain things clearly and simply, ensuring that I fully understood the concept before moving on and thanks to Lee’s expertise and excellent teaching, I was able to pass my driving test first time!! I would 100% recommend Lee as a driving instructor!

Had a really great experience with my driving instructor Hayley, she was really honest and patient with me. As well as very accommodating to my schedule with the pandemic and me going off to university. She did her best to help on the run up to the test to make sure I passed which I did first time. Really recommend Hayley and the company.

Noor has been an amazing instructor in Bow, giving fun, structured lessons with a clear plan allowing me to build my skills with his clear explanations. My confidence has been built with him helping me understand my faults and rectify them, and through his patience and encouragement. I’ve made such great progress, and I’m very grateful to have him as an instructor, and would definitely recommend him.

I am please to say how satisfied I am with the driving lessons I’m taking through Drive Johnson in Canary Wharf. The lessons are very structured and planned. I am happy with the progress I am making in such as sort period of time and hopefully soon I will be ready to undertake my test. My instructor Noor Islam is a great communicator, passionate, and cares about making safe drivers in the road. I’m glad I have chosen this company as their professionalism is outstanding.

Lee is a fabulous driving instructor. He really helped me understand driving through his in depth knowledge and skills. Lee was very good at understanding the areas of driving I needed to work on and explained these to me in an effective way. This enabled me to become a confident driver. For all my driving lessons, Lee always had a positive and friendly manner.

It was a excellent experience. Ahmad is the best driving instructor I ever had. I have done two driving tests. In my first attempt, I failed due to my parking. Ahmad spent a lot of time to discuss how I could improve in both driving and parking as well as encouraging me all the time. Thank you very much for his help!
