Clifton Engineering has established a formal quality management system that extends to every aspect of the business. Accreditation to BS EN ISO9001:2015 ensures customer quality demands are met on every occasion. A dedicated and fully equipped inspection department, including an Aberlink CNC CMM, ensures all components and assemblies are subject to thorough inspection processes during manufacture and before despatch.

Used for the production of prototypes, one-off's and small batch work, along with jigs, fixtures, press tools, machine & production line spares. Clifton Engineering offers a comprehensive range of manual milling, turning, grinding, tapping and honing machine tools. All conventional machines are fitted with digital readout equipment.
Polyurethane is one of the toughest, most wear resistant engineering polymers available today. Precision components are moulded from high performance Polyurethane Elastomers in a wide range of hardnesses and colours. Polyurethane materials offer exceptional cut & tear resistance, outstanding abrasion resistance, dynamic load bearing capabilities and a wide temperature operating range.
Established in 1993, the family-owned company was originally set up to supply local manufacturing companies. Clifton Engineering (North East) Ltd. has expanded to become an internationally respected supplier of sub-contract precision machining and component manufacturing. We currently employ 35 members of staff, and are accredited to BS EN ISO9001:2015.
