Here at GV Engineering we are committed to the continuous personal development of all of our employees and we invest heavily in a wide range of training. We have various forms of in house and onsite training and also utilise nationally recognised training bodies and industry approved training providers.
We have a team of highly skilled welders who have produced a wide variety of products over the years all to an exceptionally high standard of work. Our welders are trained and capable of providing all types of welding services including TIG, MIG, MMA and Aluminium, to suit the requirements of the customer.
Our well equipped machine shop enables us to offer a comprehensive range of machining services to suit your requirements. We have a good selection of mild steel and engineering steel bar stock available, (EN8, EN16, & EN24) in a variety of diameters from 20mm up to 300mm.
This enables us to react quickly to emergency requests for replacement shafts, bushes, and other machined components that are often required at short notice in breakdown situations.We also hold a selection of non ferrous materials such as brass, phosphor bronze, aluminium etc. Our express machining service has enabled our customers to substantially reduce costly down time where equipment failure has occurred.

We regularly carry out scheduled maintenance work to a wide variety of mechanical machinery ranging from mobile plant to belt and chain conveyors, elevators, crushers, magnet separators and many other forms of in situ plant. We aim to be flexible and work around our customers' production schedules to carry out routine planned maintenance and inspections.
Our expertise in the hydraulics industry started with the repair, overhaul and manufacture of hydraulic cylinders giving us the experience of having worked on literally hundreds of different cylinders in various applications.
We also have years of experience working with and refurbishing everything from gear pumps to the largest high end compensating piston units which affords us the confidence to repair and support any hydraulic pumps and motors currently in the field.In a similar manner to our hydraulic service described above, we can also supply pneumatic valves, cylinders, lubrication and filtration units and both flexible or rigid pipe work.
