Menarys
Menarys was founded in 1923 by Cookstown Draper Joseph Alexander, the great-uncle of our current Managing Directors, Stephen and Philip McCammon. After buying over MenaryBrothers in Lisburn in the 1970's, their father adopted the Menary's name and all Alexander's stores were rebranded. Following rapid expansion in the 1980's and 90's, we launched our sister company Tempest in 2000 to provide a stronger fashion offering to our younger customers.

Now we have 19 Menarys and Tempest stores, one Store Support Centre, more than 360 members of staff and over 200,000 Reward Me Loyalty Card holders. Over the years our stores have become focal points in local communities both in the North and South of Ireland. Our identity as a local and independent retailer is so important to us and this characteristic permeates everything we do.

Some really nice clothing in today. I like how relaxed it is to shop here. No one is staring at you every minute and making you feel uneasy. Staff were friendly. The forum cafe is the best there is in town.

Don't come to the restaurant if you got a pram no room too many tables crammed in and staff have no tolerance unfriendly and unhelpful staff. They should put a sign up no prams.

This is the sort of store that's great for visiting in on a rainy day. It sells kitchen and general household goods at very competitive prices. The staff are all very helpful and give you room to browse if that's all you want to do, although I bet you'll manage to find something to buy before you leave
