At South Allington House we are proud of our green credentials and we want to do our bit to help protect the world for future generations. Our Environmental Policy includes using energy-saving lightbulbs, Biomass boiler and wind turbine, using dispensers to reduce plastic waste, and using water butts in the grounds.
South Allington House offers 5 en-suite Bed & Breakfast rooms in the main house and a choice of 3 self-catering units. We also offer price reductions for out of season stays for fewer guests than the capacity of the property. Please contact us for further details. All guests have use of the tennis court and croquet lawn within the grounds of the main house.
Five en-suite rooms are available in the main house, including a four-poster bedroom. All rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, colour television and hairdryer. There is a visitors' lounge, with television and books, which you are welcome to use. There is also a payphone for your convenience.
There is a choice of three self-catering units, which are available on either a weekly basis, or short-term lets out of season. The grounds of South Allington House are available to hire for any function and can accommodate a marquee seating up to 200 guests. The well-maintained and beautiful gardens offer romantic settings for wedding photographs, and guests can enjoy cocktails and champagne in the grounds. The bed and breakfast rooms within the house, and the three self-catering units can be booked so your guests can relax and enjoy the party.

A weekend's camping at South Allington. A very picturesque campsite with showers, toilets, washing up facilities. Plusses, the environment, near to Lannacombe beach and East Prawle, great space for children to play, reasonable pitch fees.
Negatives, smell of pig farm in parts of the site, adequate rather than luxurious facilities, very noisy group of revellers on the first night.
