Crook Hall Farm Cottages
Crook Hall Farm and our three private holiday cottages are situated in the picturesque village of Bispham Green in the heart of West Lancashire. We are easily accessible via the motorway and train networks and The Lake District, Manchester, Southport and Liverpool are within easy reach. West Lancashire is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and scenic places to visit in the north of England and offers a vast variety of things to do.

So whether your visit is for fishing, cycling, golfing, bird-watching, walking, family fun, work, or relaxing, we really are the dream destination. The many surrounding villages each offer a different experience for shopping and eating out and the waterways, nature reserves, and family attractions all make for contrasting days out.
Services
Crook Hall Farm offers three individual luxury cottages from where you can explore our vast array of fabulous local attractions. Nestled in the beautiful Lancashire countryside, and only a short walk, drive or train ride away from many award winning and renowned places to visit, they really do offer guests an unrivalled opportunity for a great break.
Barn Owl Cottage was originally a working cart house but has since been lovingly renovated into a spacious, fully equipped and superbly appointed holiday cottage for you to enjoy. The cottage is full of original character with its tall roof, exposed brickwork and original beams and woodwork. There is also an old traditional cart's wheel adorning one wall which represents the cottage's previous life.
Dairy Cottage is a recently renovated original dairy that sits alongside the main farmhouse. It is a traditional, brick built cottage which still holds many of its original features, giving it a rustic and quirky charm, but offers a very modern and convenient way of living.

The downstairs of the cottage consists of a traditional country styled fully fitted kitchen with original stone flagged floor, and an open plan sitting room and dining area which features a wood burning stove and offers uninterrupted views across the paddocks. The first floor is reached via the staircase from the kitchen and leads to a spacious double bedroom with an adjacent modern bathroom with W.C, bath and separate shower cubicle.
Maltkiln Cottage was originally a traditional brick built piggery dating back to the 19th century. It has been tastefully restored into a delightful holiday cottage which still retains much of its character and features from its former days with its exposed beams and brickwork. The front entrance to the cottage opens directly into the open plan kitchen, dining and living area.
We really are in a unique position with what our location has to offer our guests. You will struggle to find another place like it where you can find such variety of things to do to fill your days.

There is such an abundance of places to visit and enjoy whether you are looking for a couple's getaway, an active holiday either walking, cycling, fishing or golfing, days out with the family, or just to relax and enjoy the peaceful country surroundings in close proximity to many award winning gastro pubs, unique cafes and farm shops. Our area is a nature lover's dream destination with countryside gems nestled around every corner.

We have stayed here several times. Malkin Cottage lovely and cosy. cliff and Claire very helpful if you have a problem. Its a great place to chill out and relax.Fishing ponds are full of fish. If you don't catch you are not putting bait on your hook.We would recommend this place to anybody who would like to get away from everything.

Delightful cottage well positioned for getting about. Everything you don't remember you need.
Within farmyard so lots to see and enjoy.
Owners have balance of care and concern without being intrusive.
Highly recommended as a retreat to relax or centre for getting about.

Took my father in law here today after hearing good thanks about the fishery! Can’t complain at all an absolute steal at £5 for a day ticket. 8 carp out around the 9-12lb mark, few chub between 2-4.5lb and a cracking barbel to top it off! Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in Maltkiln Cottage, it was a really lovely cottage, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very warm and cosy with everything you needed to relax and enjoy your stay. You could sit and watch the chickens wandering by the Patio Doors and see the horses in the paddock, it was in a lovely spot. Claire and Cliff were very kind and welcoming. There is plenty to see in the area and some lovely places to eat out, we would highly recommend a holiday here.
