Since recent modernisation by the current owners, the Ivydene Hotel is now a tastefully decorated ten bedroom guest house with all rooms fully en-suite.

This was not a family sized room its not even big enough for a couple. The shower and toilet were located in what seemed to be a wardrobe space and there was no hot water or water pressure in the shower, you were not able to wash properly. We payed for bed and breakfast but did not receive any breakfast or told anything about having to book for breakfast. Greeting was very bleak when we arrived and nothing was explained. We stayed for two nights but were not given any clean towels on day two or topped up with any more tea or coffee. Parking is advertised with this however there was none when we

Location was the best part as everything is on the doorstep. The room was not to our liking and tiny for a family room. We all hit our heads at some point! I could go on about what I disliked but for the price it is just OK.

Me my partner and my 3 year old son stayed for a weekend here. We arrived and on first glance it looked nice but that soon changed.
My partner when in the to find where the spacious car park was but when asking the lady turned round and said rudely 'first who are you' to which wasn't acceptable so we said we had a booking to which her reply was 'use the road'.
Once showed to room which was nice, the male said 'here is the booklets read through and when decided come down'.
The bed's was good size the bathroom if you wanted a shower your had to turn it on and let it heat up for around ten minutes
