Our Bed and Breakfast / Self Catering Accommodation has fantastic views of the National Trust's site Cley Hill, an Iron age fort, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the western end of Cranborne Chase. In the 1960's Cley Hill was famous for UFO activity making it the UK's UFO capital.
Today crop circles still occasionally appear in the adjoining field and local area. Our guests can regularly witness a variety of wildlife, which includes deer, pheasants, partridge, woodpeckers and bats. We are so close to Longleat Safari Park that we often hear Lions roar and Sea Lions bark. Among our guests, we have been very pleased to welcome Ben Fogle and Kate Humble, presenters of the popular Animal Park series.
