Seventh Wave
Located on the Durlston peninsular Seventhwave offers contemporary dining with far reaching views towards Swanage Bay, The Isle of Wight and Old Harry Rocks. Open daily serving locally sourced, home cooked meals, Jurassic coast sourced drinks and tasty treats throughout the day. Our menus change regularly to ensure dishes we are serving can be created using produce which is in season and sourced fresh.

We pride ourselves on creating all our dishes in house and where possible even our sauces. So please remember during busy periods there may be a short wait. Our kitchen team is led by a very experienced and passionate head chef who works hard to source local produce from small independent suppliers as well as larger suppliers to ensure that we bring a taste of Purbeck and Dorset to our menus.

I've loved this place since it opened. It does great food, and great drink. I went in there today though to get a drink to drink in their (lovely) outdoor area. The inside was incredibly crowded, with barely a mask in sight, and all of the windows closed. Half of the patio area was cordoned off as well which meant people were more crowded than necessary outside.
I wish they would take stopping people getting sick as seriously as they take making great food and drink.

Wonderful views and very relaxed - easy to turn up with muddy walking boots and not feel scruffy. Good range of food from coffee and cake to a full meal.

Was happily surprised to see you provide a gluten free choice, I was able to enjoy one of your scrumptious gluten free chocolate brownies this morning with a pot of tea. Friendly staff, wonderful view, great prices. Will definitely be back again soon.

Loved this place. After a 10k return walk to dancing ledge in the morning, the 3 of us (me, wife and dog) enjoyed a great sausage brioche bap, pot of tea and dog bowl of water in the bright airy cafe. Very friendly staff.

Many visits for lunch have made this a fave destination. Today there was a generous and excellent chilli linguine with masses of plump prawn, clams and mussels. And my other half had a lovely piece of pan fried hake with veggies. Friendly service. Really good Palmers Dorset Gold ale from a barrel, too. £30 for two with tea/coffee afterwards. Still haven't tried evening meal again, but for lunch its a great spot. Super cakes too, including GF. So I really recommend it...
