Our plant excepts, processes and recycles a mixture of paper types from residential, commercial and industrial sectors. We recycle and process numerous waste plastic types including Clear-Poly, Coloured-Poly and Poly-Prop Sacks. We collect, sort and recycle up to 80 tonnes of metal and aluminium cans per month, which are baled for onwards shipping.

Services
Founded in 1984 by Bill Braysford, the firm began operating from a small unit in the town - before Bill was joined by his wife, Joan (who are now both retired), and his two sons who now run the company, Billy and Andrew. By 1985 the business had grown sufficiently to facilitate a move to the current premises on the Riverside Industrial Estate, the site of the former Rishton Paper Mill.
We offer one of the most efficient, reliable and competitive waste processing and recycling services possible, this is to suit a range of customers. We don't tie our customers into any kind of contract as our services are second to none! Rishton Waste Paper provide a confidential shredding service for businesses and organisations.
We collect and sort up to 80 tonnes of metal and aluminium cans per month. These come from our council contracts and go through the picking station to separate the steel and aluminium, which are then baled. We have a Twin Ram Harris bailer with a conveyor on site. This makes light work of bailing these materials and gives a good bale weight for onward shipping.
We handle the processing and baling of council recycling waste including paper, card, glass, plastic and waste metal. We also offer secure document shredding, waste baling and rebaling services. Rishton Waste Paper pick and process various types of industrial waste, from office paper and cardboard, printers waste, plastics, glass and waste metal, which are then baled for onward shipping.
