Services
Cranial osteopathy is a very gentle, accurate and deep form of osteopathic treatment which is suitable people of all ages from babies to the very elderly. These might be acute or chronic problems which reside in any part of the body, and that does include the head. Because it is so gentle the patient can usually not feel anything at all and will commonly say to me that they didn't know what I did but they feel so much better.
Osteopathy is safe and beneficial for people including children and the very elderly. Whether you have general aches and pains, are recovering from an injury or have a long-standing problem, we can help you feel better. Based on the principle that the structure and function of the body are intimately related.
We all have unique minds and bodies and lead such different lifestyles. Our past lives and ambitions are unique and throughout adulthood, we will all face diverse challenges, some of which will affect our health and wellbeing. The effects of past traumas, stressful physical or emotional events and environmental factors can accumulate over time.
Whether you are a professional or amateur athlete or a fitness enthusiast, osteopathy can help you with acute (sudden onset) and chronic (long standing) injuries. Once your injury is resolved, we can help you get back on track with rehabilitation exercises to restabilise the injured area.

Osteopathy is also an effective approach to injury prevention, as we work on the entire body to establish muscle balance and good range of motion in your joints, thereby reducing the risk of injury and injury recurrence while improving your performance.Your osteopath is qualified to provide you with specific strengthening and stretching exercises to suit your individual requirements.
Ageing is a natural physiological process. One part of the body which is greatly affected by the process of ageing is the musculoskeletal system. As we get older, the elasticity present within our body deteriorates, which increases the risk of injuring the soft tissues and bony structures of the body.
