Francis Webbs
Francis Webbs is a firm of Chartered Accountants established about 50 years ago. We have offices in Coventry and Leamington Spa. With 2 directors and 8 staff we are very much a small firm and this is reflected in our personal and friendly approach, as well as our fees. On the other hand, we have the experience and qualifications to be able to deliver the quality of advice normally associated with a larger firm.

In other words, the best of both worlds. We offer a free initial consultation. We won't put a time limit on this, we'll spend as long as it takes to cover what you need to cover. This is ideal if you are starting up in business, you are looking to change accountant, or you simply want get a second opinion on a certain matter.

He is approved as a First Level Controller (FLC) by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) which allows him to perform audits of INTERREG IVC funded projects.David spends most of his time in the Leamington office but also provides services to clients from the Coventry office. Richard is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.
The preparation of accounts is a core accountancy service that is essential on various levels. Accounts give shareholders or owners a clear understanding of their business's financial position and form the basis of reporting to regulatory bodies, HMRC and banks or other financial institutions.

It is our firm belief that accounts should not be regarded as merely an administrative inconvenience but as a value-adding tool to help you manage your business and optimise your tax position.
Limited companies and LLP's may need to have their accounts audited if they exceed certain financial limits or if a sufficient number of shareholders demand it. But the requirement for an audit is not limited to companies and LLP's. Charities, pension schemes and recipients of government grants are other examples of entities which may be required to have their financial information audited.
Our overriding goal is to ensure that you pay the minimum amount of tax required by law. We do this by working closely with you and taking the trouble to become well acquainted with all your financial affairs, both business and personal.

As tax advisers we will provide you with all the routine tax compliance services such as tax returns, but in so doing we will always be on the look-out for tax planning opportunities and way to reduce your overall tax burden.Corporation tax: Corporation Tax Self Assessment means that the responsibility for correctly completing the company's corporation tax return and correctly calculating its tax liability rests with the directors.
Good quality, well organised financial records are necessary for any business as they will be the basis for the for the accounts and reports on which many decisions will be made by yourself as well as outside entities such as potential lenders and suppliers. They will also form the basis of your VAT returns - the penalties for getting these wrong can be quite severe.

Richard Condon provides accounting services for my Engineering Consultancy and I would recommend him and Francis Webbs to anyone.
Being very honest, I am an awful client, absolutely terrible. I constantly forget to do paper work, I submit things late, sometimes I have entirely forgot about my annual return until the week it is due.
I have never once heard a single word of complaint regarding this from Richard or any of his staff. He is always willing to take my calls, answer my probably inane questions and makes sure I do not get myself into a terrible financial mess.
All of this service has
